Hello Everyone!

So after two weeks (wow right?) and 3 support emails I was finally accepted!

I should have a lot of good content to put on here, being that I will soon be teaming up with a new coin that is yet to be released called NXT and assisting them. I will make sure to release all valuable and informational data on here for you guys to read; it is really an amazing Coin that deserves more attention than it has.

Also I am a moderator of the r/altcoin subreddit, and I am always on Discord or Slack talking about BTC.

I volunteer a lot of time towards Cryptocurrency, and I enjoy doing it - although my goal in volunteering is to also network with others; gain the trust of others, and maybe start something at some point. In fact, I have a great idea in mind right now but until I work it out more (considering it requires no investment, but instead, a creation of a small group of users who are active and willing to assist each other in making money) I will just keep on brainstorming.

I may not have much myself, but I feel like this is the best way to invest what little money I can!

Thanks for having me, and I hope to soon post valuable, informative, and high quality threads in the future!

Also, I am from Ohio, USA. Dropped out of college in 2010 after 2 years in business school to take care of my mother after her sister was about to send her to a nursing home (She had a major stroke that paralyzed the right side of her body, and has had 2 more since and countless minor ones and blood bleeding through her blood-brain barrier) and I have since moved her in with me and have became her primary caretaker

(I get no payment for this, not even from the government; I have heard there were ways; but she is only Government insurance (CareChoice) and I do not think they would support us via paying me half of what they would have to pay a live in nurse and I am someone who takes care of her twice as well as a live in nurse would as well.)

Being that I am her primary caretaker, I am unable to go back to college or get a job in real life because I have to have her within earshot 24/7. If she were to fall and hit her head the wrong way and the ambulance were not immediately called; it could be her last day.

I have vowed to take care of my mother for the rest of her days, just like she took care of me for my first two decades of life as a single mother, and she did a good job.

She is everything to me, she is the reason I research altcoins daily, she is the reason I am constantly trying to find out the best altcoin to invest in (despite having a little under $100 BTC to invest at the moment, I have been doing swing trading and was making a few bucks every other day; now that the market has dropped so much, I no longer am able to do so successfully. At least I have not learned yet. Maybe reading through Steemit would help.

Anyway, she gets paid $712 a month for disability and well under $200 a month for food stamps, so no -- it does not get us through the entire month and towards the end of the month we do struggle, but I always find a way to make it. My primary goal in life right now is to keep her happy, and in doing so I need to start building a career, even if it is online; even if it is with cryptocurrency.

So that I have, it may be months or even over a year before I actually pull anything close to a real job; even minimum wage. I wish I could make minimum wage swing trading; if I had the funds, I probably could because I had it just about perfected (research is everything, coins use not only their own websites; but a lot of other resources where you can find out so much more about them via their Devs and Admins. Reddit, BTCTalk, Discord(limited) and Steemit to name a few.) until one day I wake up and every market is in the red, and despite my constant research, and although in total I have more profit than loss; I am slowly losing daily. I am seriously debating on pulling out of some coins (And I am only invested in 5 at the moment, ALS, XMR, and STRATIS being the ones I am thinking of staying in)

Except for Monero, all other 4 coins I invested $20 in each.

For example; the day before the drop I decide to invest in Stratis at $5.14 -- on any other day the next day I could have already filled a sell order for $5.40 and make a dollar or two. But right now, instead, I am -43% since my initial investment. Almost at a $10 loss here. $ANS that everyone spoke of that had such potential in the near future? %17 percent loss so far. SIA and NXC? About 27% each.

I got hit with something I was not ready for, and instead of selling immediately; I decided to just watch them drop. Most of my deposits I did not invest too much in (The most being 0.9975 XMR for $45.59. It is now at $40.90 and only seems to be dropping, this is another I consider a long term investment, a $5 loss)

But if you look at Junes history of investments, it's 90% profits using many different coins.

Just sucks to work so hard to try and learn so much about this, and to actually make profit; just to lose it all. And then some. I am completely unsure what to do.

Going to find another thread to post in and maybe ask for some suggestions on what to get rid of and clean my hands of and what to keep and hope it goes up; or buy more of? Again, I have like $30 BTC left, so I will have to sell a few coins to buy in to a coin that has potential.

Suggestions always help at least point me in the right direction; because with altcoins, high quality posters usually include many links and articles and whatnot to read into.

Welcome, to the moment you are probably wondering how to start your adventure here.
Here are some tips to help you get started:

  1. Be realistic, do not expect quick profits. Write for what you like and be regular but no more than 2 posts per day maximum 3
  2. Making friends with other users, nothing makes it easier to communicate directly.
  3. Have fun, take it as a side hobby.
  4. Try to post short but interesting articles, do not copy from others.

Be yourself and sooner or later you will succeed.

Thanks for the honest suggestions!

Welcome to the community mate! :]

Hello Ceenoevil
welcome to Steemit ! If you like sportsbetting have a look at my blog bwin:)

I'm glad to welcome you to the new social network of a new generation. In it you can earn money while having fun, you do not have to be a good writer or post articles, you can comment on things that interest you and make money.
Like every beginning, and it's hard, but do not give up the more time it goes, the easier it will be for you.
If you feel lost, try to find friends, as in life, here is more fun when you have friends.
And last, do not forget to have fun, without that nothing can be achieved.
