Hello Steemit! I'm Charlotte, a Dental assistant, Bartender, Traveler and Crypto enthusiast from Holland!!

Hello Steemers,

My name is Charlotte ( https://www.facebook.com/charlotte.sneyder ). I am a dental assistant, bartender and recently have become a Crypto enthusiast. I love to go to music festivals, travel and hanging out with friends and family. I live in The Hague, Holland, but I spend most of my time in Amsterdam. I was introduced by friends of mine to steemit and I think it is an amazing platform to share stories and experiences. So let me tell you something about myself.

During the day, I work as a dental assistent at my uncle’s dental practice, a job that I have been doing for several years. Being a dental assistent is not all about helping the dentist at the chair. We get a lot of patients (especially children) that are afraid of the dentist and one of the things I have to do is to comfort patients and reassure them that everything is going to be allright. It gives me great pleasure to see patients leave with a smile.

In the weekends I work as a bartender in a dance club in Amsterdam. I really love going to dance festivals/party’s and that is one the reasons why I chose this job. I can earn some extra money and see some of the world’s best dj’s and artists.

Cryptocurrency

Recently I have been introduced to the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. I bought some bitcoins/alt coins and started trading on different exchanges. What I would really like to see in the future is some kind of easy payment festival / club coin. For example, if you buy your ticket online you can also buy festival currency and pay your drinks and food with your phone. Most customers in clubs and festivals pay with paper money which is a hassle is this day and age, as it is time consuming. We also get a lot of fake bills, but because it’s very busy and dark in our club we sometimes miss it. Paying with cryptocurrency via mobile would make it much safer and faster.

Traveling

I really like to travel and my latest travels took me to Kuala Lumper, Malaysia. A beautiful city with lots of things to do and see, but man is it hot! If you are going to Kuala Lumper, check out the different sky bars. They give you a nice view of the city and it is a great place to meet some of the locals. If you want to get out of the busy city you should go to Pankor Laut Resort, a little piece of paradise located on a small island. I stayed there for a couple of days, but I wish I could stay there forever. Definitely worth checking out.

Chilling with friends

If I am not working or traveling, you can usually find me hanging out with friends and family. Most of the time we go to festivals or just sit in the sun. Amsterdam is the place to be if you like that sort of things. It has dozens of parks and even more festivals too choose from.
