Hey Steemit!

My name is Chase. I'm a traveler by trade, and an avid outdoorsman at heart. To keep things short, I've come to Steemit seeking a place to share 100% original content where it will be appreciated, and hopefully interacted with by other human beings. I'm hoping to find similar content posted by all of you, and look forward to learning a ton of new stuff.

Did I mention I travel a lot?

Here is a picture I took of the Grand Canyon (or somewhere nearby) on my way out to California last year for vacation.

Since I travel for both work and pleasure, much of my content will feature life on the road. when I'm not on the road, I enjoy fine whiskey, sports cars, and learning about (and investing in) wealth. Money. Skrilla. Whatever you want to call it. It may not be the key to happiness, but it sure is useful! Anyway, I'm excited to see all of the content you guys produce here, and hope you appreciate mine.

I took this picture 9 miles in to an 18 mile day hike. Long story short, the trail I had a backcountry camping permit for was "out of order" so I had to detour and do another trail for which I did not have a permit to camp. So I hustled. The hike involved something like 7000 feet of elevation change; basically I walked up the side of a bigass mountain and kept going all day until I had been mostly climbing for a few hours. Then I went back to base camp. My legs and feet were super sore, but as you can see from the picture, it was worth it.
