We Are Here To Help "Level Up" Lives

That may sound cheesy, but I am asking you to suspend belief for just a minute... this community is giving so many people a voice that they would not have on any other platform. While there are the unfortunate spammers & abusers on the platform, there are far more people like us who are honest & want to see this community not only survive, but THRIVE!

That is why I am here, and is going to be my state of mind for everything that I am going to post on here. My goal is to drop so many value bombs that anyone who reads it will be able to not only be entertained... but also be able to level-up their lives.

The Blockchain Wants To Know...

Does the Blockchain really want to know who I am... and where should I start?

I am a simple IT Nerd whose claim to fame is being the first person to get a perfect score on a Microsoft Certification exam at my testing facility in Phoenix, AZ... and accidentally making $4,000 while sitting on a beach (but that is a story for another time).

I know that does not stack up to the likes of a serial Entrepreneur like @officialfuzzy or a mindful philosopher like @mindhunter, and I am definitely no Superhero like @jerrybanfield... but I was born to serve a purpose!

• I am a straight shooter who will give you the shirt off my back if I thought you needed it more than me, but do not expect me to offer it up.

• People who are closest to me know that my compassion for helping others often gets me in trouble.

• If someone comes to me with a problem and asks for help, they will get my honest opinion on the situation and whether I feel I can truly help them or not.

• If there is one thing I hate (I do not use this word often) more than anything else in the world, it is seeing people waste the most precious gift we have… and that is Time!

• I am a loving husband to my beautiful wife, and father of 2 amazing children.

But What Do I Stand For?

As our lives become increasingly digital, I feel it more imperative than ever that we all dedicate time to be human and connect with others. While I prefer to hangout using group chat, webinars, and live events... for today, this #introduceyourself post will have to do.

• The hustle and bustle of the Digital Lifestyle and the expectations for instant gratification are creating unprecedented levels of stress in our lives.

• The demand for our attention has increased so greatly that humans have been forced to adapt, and now we have less of an attention span than a goldfish!

I believe that we cannot continue this torrid pace, and the path that most of us are on is going to lead to burn out, regret, and missing out on the things that matter most in life.

It is time for us to begin slowing down, simplifying our lives & businesses so that we can enjoy the lives we are working to achieve. While Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain technologies may not be the entire solution, I am a firm believer that they are a necessary piece to the next evolution of our society.

I cannot believe you are actually still reading this, it shows real determination & strong character. I value those ideals, and appreciate you taking the time to get to know me a little.

So I want to return the courtesy, and give you some of my time!

Call it destiny, luck, or just plain old good timing... but at the time of me joining the Steemit Community a new feature was released.

That new feature allows us to all have Cover Images now for our Steemit blogs...

... and I want to make one for you (totally free)!

I see this as the very first opportunity I am able to use my talents to give back

Instead of just putting up a post about it... I figured I would only offer it to the people like YOU who cared to read about my life.

Now I am not a professional graphics designer, but I get by and get things done. So I am only going to offer a few design styles that I will customize for anyone that wants one.

The styles will be below, all you need to do is comment below with the style you are interested in having me customize for you. Then depending on the selection you will need to find some Royalty Free images from preferably Pexels so I can easily find the images you want to use.

Once you decide and let me know in the comments, we can fine tune and get the design the way you like it via Direct Messages in the Steemit Chat

I played around with a lot of different image sizes, and researched a lot of other posts here on Steemit about the new cover photos... but there does not seem to be a consensus for the size of the image.

Here is what I found to be true in the testing of my account on several computers and multiple browsers and screen resolutions.

• My ideal size: 1500 (width) x 200 (height) - A quality image while not cutting much off on any screen size.
• You need to keep the center of the image a solid color to show your blog info cleanly
• The length of your Description ("About") can change the cover height 2-10 pixels.

As this is my introduction to the community I wanted to make sure I put a lot of time and thought into this post with hopes that I am worthy of joining the club!
