Hello dear steemit Community, my name is Daniel and this is my Introduction… Since Steem and the rather personal concept of steemit are new for me, it sure costs me a lot to overcome my more passive and private habits of common internet usage as it was in most of my internet life. So here I am :-D

If my sentences may (or do) sound weird. Thats maybe because I am from Germany and not so much used to write or speak English on a daily basis… sometimes not even weekly. But I hope to get better at it, posting here on Steemit.

Since I love creating content, the concept of Steemit itself, especially d.tube, are looking very appealing to me. As far as I can see, the steem community is much more direct and the discussions are on topic and with a great variety of opinions, criticism and suggestion. Maybe someday steemit.io and d.tube will be the to go place for creators who want to grow and get better at what they do, because of an open minded community… at least that’s what I am hoping for.

That in mind, I want to create valuable content, because that’s the only thing that works!… everywhere!… halfhearted content may work occasionally or at the beginning of something, but on the long term, quality will be the most valuable factor. 

What I do and what I don’t like and how I plan on contributing to the steemit community.

To be honest, I don’t like an overpositve or overnegativ attitudes, so I try to be as direct as possible. There is a good chance, that good work will receive a fair amount of recognition and with it Steem… but so far, the system still needs a long way to level itself. But that’s o.k., I am good with it, I want to be part of it, because it looks fun and exciting. For me, it is like a brand new and really sturdy ship in the storm of the block chain and Cryptocurrency Sea. So far, it is looking good… to wherever steemit sails.

  I am currently studying Medienmanagement (Media management) at the Ostfalia Hochschule (University) in Salzgitter. That’s where I learned a lot of theoretical and also quite a lot of practical stuff. I also worked there as a one man army, for one and a half year at the internal Medienmanagement videography rental system, which was a great experience and helped me a lot to understand the real needs of photo- and videography.

Based on my experience, I want to create and post sophisticated tutorials on how to use photo- and video equipment. They will be more centered on why, that should deliver more insights on what’s important and to decide on the how itself. Since blogging and creating content like turorials is new to me, it will take some time for me to getting used to it and creating great content. Since d.tube doesn’t offer subtitles or dubs yet, I will create the accompanying Videos in English. When hopefully d.tube supports subtitles and maybe dubs, Subtitles and eventually dubs in certain languages will follow.

Besides my focus on project management and photo- and videography, I like to create 3d computer games. But for that matter, it may take a while before I can show you the cool stuff like videos with game mechanics… but in the meantime, there will be some nice artworks and screenshots to show where it’s going.
