Introducing myself: This is me

Hello everyone.

My name is Deyra De Barrios and I am 21 years old. I was born on November 25th in Venezuela, where I still live. I am a Chemical Engineer and I am working in an enterprise full of knowlegde and nice people. I have my parents alive, an older sister and a wonderful boyfriend who is also my colleague.

My childhood was pretty sweet, it was full of love and fun, I did ballet for 3 years and I was one of the best students in my little school. I was a very responsible girl for my short age. In fact, I have tried to be good at all the things I have done, so I became perfectionist as well.

Some years later, I met ice skating, fell in love inmediately of it and had the opportunities to take classes so I did it for almost 7 years. In the ice skating school I learned lots of things, from spins, jumps and other figures to several lessons of emotional inteligence -classes and rehearsals were made of discipline and love-. Unfortunately, the only ice rink in my city had to be closed so I stopped skating, that was a painful moment in my life and I have not found something could fill that emptiness in my life. However, I have always liked math, chemistry and other subjects related to science so I studied Chemical Engineering, a career that is, in my opinion, really beautiful, practical and even useful in daily life.

In conclusion, I could define myself as a cheerful but sensitive woman. I love animals, wind, water, dancing, eating sweets, expressing myself, engineering, sleeping and skating as you could see above. Making decisions is difficult for me but sometimes I could be really impulsive, so I have been working on controlling it thanks to meditations and mistakes.

The next objective in my life is to become an excellent professional by getting experience and studying more, so I think this social network can give me space to post about useful advices to become a better person in all aspects of life, which is something could help me and you.
