Hellllloooo Steemians, We are dfrnt, artists, and Come in Peace!

Take us to your LEADER!.. wait... thats the best part, theres NO ZUCKERBERGS here! We've been researching a new social media home to settle into since the rest of these data stealing creativity suppressing algorithm filled anti social networks have become too much to handle. WE ARE HERE to SHARE what we love to do, creating unique artwork for unique people.

We are a husband and wife team that collaborates on art under the name "dfrnt". Years ago we found that by working together and ENCOURAGING each others personal and artistic differences we created work that was more interesting than our individual solo work. We love to encourage others to embrace what sets them apart, not set it aside in order to fit in.

Since we are introducing ourselves, a few details.... dfrnt = Mia + Tony....

Mia: I'm the lead artist at dfrnt and spend most of my days working on paintings, streaming digital art commissions on twitch and chillin with my puppy GAMBIT who you will all get to know soon enough. I was born and raised in Miami Florida so OF COURSE I'm cuban!

Tony: Originally from Los Angeles California, I went to art school in Florida, moved back to LA, then moved around a bunch due to work, and currently live near Atlanta Georgia, and hop back to Los Angeles when needed. I work full time, long hours, in the feature film industry. Over the years I've worked mostly on Disney and Marvel films, Avengers Infinity War 1&2 being the most recent. Due to working for such media giants I've always wanted to develop my most personal creative work independently, outside of work. Luckily I found a supportive artist who became my wife. She has encouraged my passion to keep thinking outside the box in order to develop new ideas that speak to an audience that is tired of the seeing the same old thing repeated over and over again.

P.S. since there are two of us, we are wondering if anyone has any advice on how to best distinguish who is talking at the moment. I, Tony, think that one of us can speak in italics all of the time, like Mia did for her intro above, and the other... no italics? Does markdown allow font color changes?.... We welcome any thoughts :)
