Hi Steemit. My First Post

After meeting @clains at the Oslo meetup for bitspace. I decided to give steemit a try. So Hi Steemit!

I am ethnically Sri Lankan, grew up in Australia and now studying in Norway doing a Masters in Micro and Nanotechnology.

In my spare time I am looking to create a website to help the city I was born in (Jaffna) recover through decentralized development, and hopefully in the near future use cryptocurrency for its local economy.

I do film making as a hobby mostly of my travels. I have one video that I watch from time to time to remind myself of some of the amazing things that I have done.

My favorite video is the one of the people I have met while travelling, who for a brief moment your share a space and time together. It reminds how big the world with so many diverse and interesting people. It is probably these moments I shared with them that I remember the most of my 10 month world travel, rather than the places I saw/visited.
