Hi, I'm Dwizz, step into my brain
I am starting to explore my ideas more and more through writing. I intend to debate the ideas of free will and individual sovereignty. To try and reconcile abstract mythic spiritual truth, with observable scientific deterministic truth. In doing so I hope to highlight the reasons why enlightenment thinking is still prefferable to post modern critical theory, while offering suggestions as to the causes of the problems plaguing western society, the society produced by enlightenment thinking, and how I think language is the key to the pathology driving both sides. The thoughts produced by the enlightenment were enough to give us scientific, political, and industrial revolutions, and it would be shortsighted to abandon such ideals. It is certain that any idea capable of being used for good, can equally be used to justify evil, so in the marketplace of ideas, individual sovereignty, self governance, and absolute rather than relative morality, must remain the highest virtues.
I wrote one other post already before making this introduction. Here is the link.

Welcome to steemit! You seem like an interesting one. I tend to agree with most of the things you mentioned, which is odd cause I'm usually arguing with other people about those things and it's not too often I find likeminded people. Seems like useful information to put out! I think more and more people need to know this kinda stuff, so good for you for adding some real value out there!
Also I see you're trying to explore your ideas more through writing, have you thought about doing any of the writing contests here on steemit? They seem to be a good way for beginners to get started and earn some extra steem!
I also don't want to give the impression I'm only here welcoming you to promote my own stuff, but I also have been hosting a contest here on steemit for the last number of months and writing is a significant aspect of most of the challenges. If that sounds interesting to you let me know and I'd be happy to help answer any questions you may have.
And.. Either way, good luck on here! I gave you a follow and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. :)
I am definitely interested in anything that will help me push myself, and followed you back. I have one other steemit post so far where I kind of introduce my thoughts on some of the things I talk about in my intro. I'm not sure if you looked at that too since I linked it but if your comment includes both then right on! I look forward to hearing more about these contests, learning more about steemit, and hope that I can produce some content that you enjoy!! Cheers!
Word. That's a good attitude. :) Thanks for the follow also. I didn't look at your other post yet, but I will now that you mentioned it again. There's a lot of different contests! Specifically in regards to writing contests you should look up @moneyinfant who does a series highlighting them. :)
And in regards to the contest I host... Here's a link to the simplified rules.

Right now we're doing a challenge on etymology, and there's a bonus challenge to write up an essay on the history of the word "etymology" you may be interested in that one. :) Here's a link to that.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help answer! :) If you decide to enter our contest, I look forward to seeing what you come up with in regards to that! Cheers.

We hope to hear your opinion on TechChat’s content! We always love to hear from our community.
Happy Steeming 🚀
Yea Dwizzz! Glad to see you started posting. Excited to read what you have to write and what people think too, haha :D
Great brain, so lovely inside your big brain. Thanks for sharing, hehe. You are awesome. I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold. You can call me Joey.
Hola, I like this, something substantial, not all about how to make money with bots etc.
Could you please justify your implied claim, "abstract mythic spiritual truth, with observable scientific deterministic truth."? Who says spiritual truth is abstract, or that scientific truth is deterministic?
Disclosure: I find the Law if One material addresses these questions and their implications with exquisite clarify and coherence.
Cheers and cheerio,
Haven't read law of one. Sounds familiar though, I'll have to check it out. First off, if steemit is plauged by people making baseless content, than I hope more people start signing on to try and start discussions and create a marketplace of ideas. -- you are correct, I do not know Truth. But my line of thinking tells me that spiritual understanding is subjective and there for must be abstracted and communicated through artistic, metaphorical means. While science is a much more concrete tool that uses language, but not metaphorically. In science languages purpose is to quantify physical reality. In spirit, languages purpose is to be a catalyst, abstracted across many artistic mediums, through which an individuals subjective spiritual experience can be inferred by the observer, and therefor understood, rather than accepted as taken to be true on faith. I posted one other blog before my intro post. Check it out if you think any of the stuff I have to say is thought provoking. I will respond to your thoughts on that as well. Cheers to you too.
