My short introduction

GOOOOOD MORNING STEEMIANS!
vv1.gif

I have been postponing this post because I really didn’t wanna screw it up, however I don’t want my posts to be super scripted and feel fake, especially since life is beautiful as it is and I think the best way to share it should be to tell you my experiences and knowledge as raw as possible to make them more entertaining and hopefully useful as well to you. So this morning I decided to just do it.

Here’s a short introduction about me

My name is Saul, I’m 21 years old and I have been fully vegan for about 2 months (however I was previously a vegetarian for about 1 and a half years), this is by far one of the best decisions I have made in my life! Not only because I feel it has helped me tremendously to grow as a person but also because it has improved significantly my health and my appearance (I’ll make more detailed posts about this topics in the future since I think this information will be very useful for both vegans and also for people looking to transition or just interested in looking more into this lifestyle for health/environmental/ethical reasons)

( here is a bigass picture of me in my sexy/slutty forksoverknives t-shirt, my sister gave it to me on my birthday, she’s not vegan right now, but she really has a heart of gold)

I have always wanted to learn a handstand, however I never really trained for it, until this year that I decided to start practicing handstands every day to achieve my goal of a consistent 30 second freestanding handstand. I started this year not being able to hold it for more than 2 seconds if I was lucky, but I have to say my progress has been crazy and I can already hold it for 15 seconds (not always but it’s getting more consistent).

A little disclaimer: I was already strong enough to hold a handstand against the wall for over 30 seconds and I had already learned how to forward roll so I no longer have the fear of falling forward which is often the limiting factor for most people in their practice)

I will also love to share my progress and the routines and tips I use if you also want to learn how to stand on your hands, so please let me know.

I guess that’s all for this first post, I’m really looking forward to learning more about this platform and the awesome community that’s behind it, so if you have any tips/requests or just want to share your experience with me please do so by leaving a comment.

Thanks Spencer, I really like what you said about helping each other, I will definitely watch out for your steemit tutorials to improve my posts and overall content

That's great! I've had some good feedback on my latest YouTube video. Feel free to comment on it with your insight.

Cool Gifs! I'm still tryna figure out how to get these on my post.

It’s very easy, all you have to do is search what you want on google plus gif and once you download it you just add it to the post like a regular image, I actually discovered it by accident

I considering waiting a while to post my introduction, but didn't. I'm thinking that I should have. Welcome to steemit even if you have been here for a while.

Thanks chuck, definitely some post have some amazing quality as far as format and just overall content that I could have acquired before making my first post, but I realized that I didn’t wanted the days to turn into weeks and have more pressure to just start

Hi Saul. Where are you from?

Hi :) I'm from Bolivia, if that doesn’t really ring a bell that’s because it’s in South America

Hi Saul. First of all, I would like to welcome you to Steemit. Before continuing, I would like to introduce myself to you. I prefer not to inflate this comment, so I am posting a link to my introduction post here. I myself am new here (I joined Steemit on 30th January 2018) and ever since I got on the platform, my journey has been amazing. The community doesn't diversify us based on our location or by any other classification, which I think is amazing. I have been meeting a lot of awesome minds here since day 1 and most of them were really open to a conversation.

I went through your entire introduction and my congratulations to you for becoming a complete Vegan ( I tried to become a vegan myself a while back but failed miserably 😌). Just loved the way you expressed yourself without all those formal stuff which truly makes this post stand out. I do have to agree that your thumbnail is one of the best introduction post images I have seen till now.
I look forward to know more about you and it would mean a lot if we could be in a Steemit Circle.

Hi jaedea, I couldn’t agree more with you, steemit seems to be a great place for people to find others with similar interest as well as allowing a “more friendly” format to share real interest and experiences and not just pictures at facebook that tend to have a generic phrase instead of a more interesting description or message (I also read your introduction ;) ), hope to meet more people like you here

It is great to know that you went through my introduction post ( forgive me for the silly grammar mistakes in that post 😅). I am looking forward to going through the amazing things that I know you are going to post here. I am more than happy to add you to my Steemit Circle and to follow you so that we could really know each other more. It would be really damn awesome if I could say to my friends that I have a friend in Bolivia who is a really cool guy 🙂

After going through your post, I'm really motivated to learn to do a handstand. Hope that you will create quality posts describing steps to achieve this. Really looking forward for that.

Thanks a lot Nayan, I'll definitely will be looking for any tips and maybe even in the future I'll be able to help you as well

thank you bro..

Hello! Thank you for this. I've been doubting if I should put up my own introduction. This inspired me to do so!

Glad this helped you, I can definitely relate on the perfectionist/overthinking mindset that makes you procrastinate things until “the perfect time” comes, I guess that’s something we can both improve this year ;)

I like your honest vibe :) followed!

Thank you :) that’s a really nice compliment to recieve

Hello Saul, I'm Oatmeal Joey, and I can't hand stand that or stand like that or stand to stand like that, ha ha. I was in Vietnam. Good morning Vietnam. Good night Steem. Just kidding. Love your creativity. I wear glasses, too. Funny. That is all folks. Love what you do.

Haha thanks Joey
