earthling - introduction post
When I was a little girl, around 7-10 years old. I dreamt about writing a book as powerful in influence as the bible.
In that very book I would explain to everyone that War, Hate and Poverty was wrong, a man made misery, and that instead everyone should help each other, love each other, and live a life in harmony with different people different cultures, making art, crafting, interpreting the world through music, poetry and storytelling, and exploring the nature's beautiful sights all around the world or just around the neighbourhood.
At that time, childhood, my classmates were fans of musicians, sportspeople and actors. My heros, (besides my grandma), without knowing their cultural or political stories were mother Teresa, Gandhi and Dalai Lama. I had seen images of them appearing on the television screen with lots of words following that I did not have the maturity to understand, but one thing I did understand was that they were people fighting for the people, for freedom, liberty, loving and caring, showing empathy for and towards other people, towards this planet we live on and all existing earthlings that we share it with.
Our planet is ours, not yours, not mine, not his or hers, not just the animals, not just the plants, not just the humans,..but ours.
As you know. I did not get to write that book. I should have studied more philosophi, should have followed my english classes better to master the language in order to reach out to more earthlings.
But these blog posts are at least a start. My main message is:
You are an earthling, I am an earthling. ...And its time for a revolution, a revolution of love
I hope steemit can be a tool for all of us to reach that goal
