RE: "Introduce Yourself"- Zoe Williamson

Hey! Welcome to Steemit! This community is amazing but does take some getting use to since it’s a bit different than the other social media platforms.

I joined Steemit December 30th, 2017 and have had a blast networking, learning and earning (actually made some pretty good money so far)!

Be sure to follow me @entrepreneur916 and Steem On!

Hi! I just followed your account. I'm pumped to be apart of the community. Thanks for the friendly introduction and comment Steemian!

Heck yeah! I know that this is gonna sound akward but I LOVE your name. I am going to name my first baby girl Zoey!

This is a very exciting platform, and it's kind of surreal the amount of money you can make on it. If you need any help please let me know, I'm not a "Whale" (Superuser), but I'm doing ok. Made around $1,100 USD on this site in my week week which is officially tonight.

There are a lot of tools available to get you money here, just gotta take the time.

Thank you so much! And Zoe's a great name haha! I probably will be asking for tips if I have any questions. Thanks a million and I will DEFINITELY be investing time into this website.

Hi there! I've been on Steemit the past few hours and I have a few questions:

1)Is leaving your money on Steemit safe?
I understand after 7 days of making a post you can get Steem and Steem dollars. I'd like to convert that money into Bitcoin, however the two exchanges are too busy for me to signup into them. I'm just wondering if I receive money whether I should IMMEDIATELY put my Steem into a wallet, or if it's fine to stay in my Steemit account.

2)What was the most proficient way to make money for you on Steemit?
Was it constantly voting or commenting? Or constantly making posts? Or some other way.

I hope you don't mind answering those questions. You clearly know what you are doing since you've made $1,100 USD on this site.

Thanks! @entrepreneur916

Not a problem, if we help each-other out I am sure we will be successful here Zoe.

1 There are a few things you can do with the revenue you make here. Once the payout hits you have to redeem your SBD (Steem Dollars) to your "wallet", you can either purchase STEEM and exchange it for whatever crypto you fancy, or keep it in your wallet where it will earn interest and you can buy products, services (i.e bot services), or send to other people. Lastly, you can buy STEEM power, which adds to your influence and increase the values of your upvotes.

Depending on how much you want to commit to this, and how much you want to influence the platform will dictate what you want to do. Personally, on my more random posts I "Power Up" meaning all of the rewards from that post goes to Steem Power so I gain more influence. My large posts "research papers and articles" go a 50/50 split, so I can use bots yo upvote and make more money on other posts, while enjoying the increased Steem Power.

Steem operates off the blockchain and totally secure ,and frankly with the explosive growth and a big launch coming, I think Steemit may be one of the best best in crypto besides Ethereum, which was personally one of my most profitable investments to this day.

2 Creating a following and networking is by far the first thing you need to do. Get the attraction of larger users and get their support. One large user has the voting power of tens of thousands of other users. Once you have this greater visibility, then spend your time creating quality content.

WOW! Thanks so so so much for the informative words! I'm new to Steemit, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, because maybe I'll know answers as I get more familiar with the site.

No problem. By the way, @bunnymoney is my wife. We were just talking about you. All three of us are gonna team-up and rule 2018!

No way! HAHA yes! Bring it on Steemit 2018!
