Hello folks! I am Gökhan from Turkey. I am a software developer and I live in Krakow which is the best city in Poland. I love travelling, reading books, watching movies, cooking, playing chess and playing video games. And also for a long time I am following cryptocurrencies and I made some investments. I lived in Istanbul, Isparta, Izmir, London and now I live in Krakow.
The reason why I joined steemit is that I believe steemit is an excellent community to expand your knowledge. I belive that this community is going to be the next biggest social media platform. I am here to share my programming language knowledge, travelling experience. how to cook some traditional food, book and movie advices and so on. I am planning to write about these topics mostly. I have always been interested in sharing my thoughts with others and I will do it here as much as I can. I would like to share some of my pictures with you.
This is my sweet home where I live right now. I took a picture of my room while I was writing this post. It is an old but lovely place. In Poland they call 'kamienica' this kind of old buildings. It is near to Old Town. I have erasmus people next door and sometimes we party together at home. Yes I live alone but my friends are mostly here and actually it means that I dont live alone. I like hanging out with my friends and I have many close friends. I belive that having friends makes one’s life easier and better. I like cooking at home. I belive that it is healthier and economic. I go to gym and mostly I am trying to cook things which contain proteins and carbohydrates. I also can share my body building experiences here. I am doing body building for 8 years.
I love horse riding and horses. I started horse riding when I was 6 years old. This is what i like doing in my spare time sometimes. I love animals. I lived with my cousin while I was studying in university in Izmir. And we were living with Berlin(our golden retriever). When I moved to Istanbul, she stayed there and lived with Berlin. I still miss him. He was great friend for us in the family because he was a great source of love and friendship. After a long day at university, it was relaxing to find him all excited by your side, licking and compelling you to play along when you return home. Having him around, I believed to be less prone to depression, anxiety and stress.
This photo was taken in Edinburgh, Scotland. I love traveling and exploring new cultures. I believe that traveling is an underrated investment in yourself. As you travel you meet with more new people, explore new cultures, and lifestyles than you are living in your homeland all the time. I have been more than 10 countries and I hope I can see all countries in the world until I die.
