Finding Work in the Philippines

Hello again! Since I was new to steemit and naïve to some do’s and don’ts, I was advised just now to have a blog about introducing myself. Now without further ado, I will tell you a glimpse of myself. My parents gave me a name Pamela Denise because my father is a fan of Baywatch before. Here is a fun fact, Pamela means honey according to Baby meaning names and Denise was a follower of a God of wine. I can’t help but to think that I was born to be alcoholic, but naaaah I hate alcohol. I am a residence at San Luis, Pampanga, Philippines and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management in University of the Assumption. You may ask why I am not pursuing my course but guess what, I already did. After graduation, I joined some home caters lead by Chef Canono.

I also worked for almost a year in Shakeys as a Food Attendant and Guest Service Relation. I actually received some achievements but the salary does not compensate enough for my living. Tough eh?

After resting from work, I decided to work away from home which I need to rent an apartment and teach as a language Instructor in JFDee Academy. Sadly, though the salary is much higher, the additional savings went to paying my rent. Somehow it is frustrating but as I am staying at home, I looked for another venture….

And that is crocheting where I found myself being creative, can earn through a hobby and be a better photographer for my products! As my little business being convenient to me, I became an online seller of yarns used in crocheting during my free time. This March 2018, I found myself taking a step towards a more stable job.
