RE: Introducing Viuly | Our VIU Token Pre-Sale is HAPPENING NOW for the NEXT 4 days | (Bounty Program info)

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Your name sounds like Viewly.
You copied the structure from Viewly.
Your advisors are listed against their will. Some of them have sent you notices to remove them from your website.
You have paid shills creating fake impression of activity.

The Viuly project has been announced for quite some time....
From what I noticed, View.ly was announced after the Viuly announcement was made.

Not true. Viewly has been announced on July 13th. The wayback machine has a snapshot of view.ly from Aug. 24th. Yours does not exist.

You registered viuly.io/telegram on Sept 14th, and announced the ICO for 2 weeks later (originally targeting Oct 1st, changed to Oct 10th after we announced our sale would be in the first week of Oct).
According to the whois history, viuly.com domain changed registrant entity from Australian to Russian on Sept 13th. Bitcointalk thread Sept 20th.

Final Words
You have only "raised" $15,000. You would probably have had a better chance if you didn't try to be like Viewly, but ventured out with your own legitimate thing.

Sort:
Hey Wait a minute!!

"You, Yours..."
Please don't refer to me in any way to be associated with this project.

I simply asked for proof before you go on a rampage scam accusation...

Your advisors are listed against their will. Some of them have sent you notices to remove them from your website.

That is concerning and a big red flag that I am checking into right now.

You have paid shills creating fake impression of activity.

Yup, that is more than obvious

Last words: Your probably right, but it's best to present evidence firsthand. In my first opinion, it seemed reasonable that users supporting view.ly would be upset of a competitor posting on Steemit, which as we all know, has shown great feedback for that project. But that is some pretty damning evidence to check into.
Once again: I'm not supporting Viuly.com and neither am I supporting View.ly so I'm completely biased in my opinions

I apologize for addressing you as part of the project. So far, the only responses we got were from the people affiliated with it.

Here is a response from the Viuly.com CEO

I'll try to answer with a shot message.

@furion is a liar!

  1. Viuly.com domain name owned by our CEO from 2014 !
  2. Viuly.com has Different structure and concept from View.ly
  3. Viuly.com is a registered legal project (Viuly Media LTD in Estonia)
  4. We have an alpha working. Check it out. It's a completely different concept and platform.

Our lawyer on this issue now. View.ly and its founder members will answer for calling as a scam in the court.

Or you can just answer his seemingly legitimate claims above^

@officialfuzzy I am only responding because you commented.

What claim that the names are similar and that the concepts are similar? So is DTube, and I am sure plenty of other platforms. There are distinct differences however and when it's all said and done all video platforms will be decentralized. Ours provides more rewards to our community as a whole and our coin has a lower cost for entry = FACTS

At the end of the day, we are a legitimate company, with legitimate tech, providing a legitimate value proposition to our community, and @furion despite being a respected content creator and member of the steemit community also clearly has vested interest in the success of Viewly , which means his claims have malicious intent.

Regarding the website domain nonsense. That is just business, but out of respect for the steemit community and you I will provide clear and transparent insight into it once and for all. We have owned our domain and been working on our platform since 2014, but transferred our domain temporarily in September to an investor to oversee the ICO process. Once the ICO is over the domain ownership is transferred back to us.

Here is the proof

The fact that we even have to go this in-depth is both pathetic and I guess a testament to the steemit community's due diligence.

Can we leave it at that or do we have to address more lies? When they go low, we go high, but please don't doubt we have more proof of corrupt sleazy practices by Viewly and @furion trying to hurt our ICO (IT'S INSANE).

We rather let the tech talk, and it will.

You haven't addressed any of the concerns above, but are rather steering the narrative with pointless distractions and ad-hominem attacks.

For one, why did you name your project Viuly which sounds like Viewly?

You show up out of nowhere, and somehow we should believe its just a coincidence that you:

  • have the same sounding name
  • are addressing the same opportunity
  • also have the Alpha (although ours actually runs on the Steem blockchain and uses IPFS)
  • happen to have an ICO at the same time

@furion we now understand why you have been so adamantly attacking us. We were not aware that you were actually the creator of the viewly platform. The name issue was addressed above with documentation showing we have had our domain name since 2014 not in any way to be like your site (which didn't exist yet), but because English is not the only language in the world and for our initial target demographic "viu" instead of "view" was more adequate, case in point:

As for our relation to steemit, since the announcement, we have been working with our development team to see how smart media tokens could be integrated within our platform to provide even more value to users. This is why we decide to join the steemit community. However our main focus has always been to be a Patreon on the blockchain not a viewly.

An ICO "at the same time" would be on the same day, and our ICO is not running on the same exact day as yours. The final factor is there is enough space in this market for plenty of similar projects, but in no way is our platform exactly similar to yours...JUST TRY OUR ALPHA.

Finally, as you are a content creator, and seem to love trolling the fuck out of us, we invite you to host your content on our platform since you are already familiar with its structure. We think you would adapt to it nicely.

Best Regards,
Your Friends at the Viuly Team

P.S.
Perhaps this Medium Article would put some of your concerns at ease.

Also please don't be afraid to join our Telegram Community. Our fast growing group of loyal fans and investors would love to hear what you have to say.

If Furion was indeed the creator . . . would you care to show proof of this? This is a pretty strange revelation if it were true . .

Hello @shawnfishbit,

It's a revelation for the Viuly staff, but apparently it's public knowledge here on steemit per the first few opening lines in this article by @furion's cohort @isacoin where they are continuing to bash our platform enjoyed by thousands of current users. He says,

To clarify first:

This ICO Viuly is 100% a copycat scam.

The Original ICO is Viewly by @furion

This was actually news to us until we thought about how aggressive and passionate he has been to bash us every chance he gets and then we realized it was less about being a beacon of truth on the steemit platform and more about being the creator of Viewly.

please explain this to me:

Same number of likes again and again?

I decided not to invest Viuly after reading @furion's comments. I will wait until what happens in court. Please LMK so that I can invest later.

Thank you for clarifying it.
