SUMMARY OF ME
The APAULSTLE!
On the 14th day of July some twenty-something years ago, a newborn wore the colour of darkness on his skin and the shine of a true rebel in his eyes. With so much hope in him, he was named Paul.
So here's Paul and this is an introduction to me.
I was told by my parents I was named Paul basically because they wished I'd be outspoken, fearless in conviction and full of impact to lives I come across just like the biblical Paul, my mentor.
My friends call me "APAULSTLE" because I wouldn't stop talking about all the ills and panaceas of our society.
I'm of the minority Oro speaking tribe in the southern part of Nigeria in West Africa.

The Oronians are known for their deep sense of hospitality and care for visitors.
My secondary studies was at Methodist Senior Science College, Oron. I later studied Microbiology at the University of Uyo where I met my buddies.
@godwine, Kingsley, myself and @otybest.
Growing up, I was besieged with alot of questions about life.
"Questions like why was I brought into this world without my opinion or even consent?
Is there really a God?
Why would some people be rich and others poor?
Why would some people in church (a place where only good people should be found) be so wicked and opposite of what the profess?"
These questions and many more made me develop a mind of my own and a longing to find answers.
My quest for these answers so influenced me that I became so withdrawn from people and questioned even my parent's belief system. This lead to my temporal belief that there is no God. I only believed in destiny. I can still remember my Dad saying "You this child, you are fast becoming an atheist!" I had to lookup the word 'atheist' because I never understood what it meant.
Later I convinced myself that things don't just happen. The origin and existence of man did not just manifest on planet earth, that there must be an architect, a supernatural being behind things and events.
I have always wanted a platform to share my thoughts and doubts about our society and life with my contemporaries. This quest lead me to my trying to open a blog which failed, then my friend @godwine
told me about Steemit and the wonderful audience I could get here. Being not too keen on it another friend @otybest
confirm and pushed me to sign up.
I am very passionate about the state of our society particularly my country, Nigeria. I always believed that the real change we want will only come when my generation comes together to demand it. That's why I earnestly look forward to engaging like minds on steemit.
