Who is GioHazard and the day I became a Chelsea fan

Hello! This is my first post so I wanted to introduce myself quickly and tell you a little story about my beginning as a Chelsea supporter. My name is Giovanni, I was born in Venezuela on February 28th, 1997, and Chelsea has been my team since 2008. From now on, I will be posting my thoughts on Chelsea games, transfers and everything related to the club, trying to catch you with my narrative.

I am a sports enthusiast, Telecommunications Engineer and used to run a Chelsea Twitter account where I focused mainly in news and live game updates.

I got into football in 2008, watching every Tuesday and Wednesday the Champions League when suddenly a team dressed in blue caught my eye. The team was Chelsea and they were playing against Liverpool in the semi-finals, which saw Chelsea go through 4-3 on aggregate score, that day I first develop my actual bond with the club, and that bond became permanent on May 21 of that same year, the day of the Champions League final.

Here is the funny thing, most people starts supporting a team because of their success, because of that the Yankees or Barcelona have a lot of fans around the world, nevertheless, on May 21, 2008, Chelsea did not win, they lost the final on penalties against Manchester United, however, my eyes turned to the brave, vertical and passionate blue team.
