New to steemit and lost in the flash flood. :D

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Hi, everybody. Hope you guys are having a good time. I am new to Steemit and is still figuring out how stuff works here. On my first day I posted some articles. And received some nice response. Here are some of the posts :
Paragliding high over Himalayas! India 001
Lake of the moon | Chandra Tal | India 002
It was nice to receive some good response for beginning but now I am feeling that whatever I do, it only has a matter of seconds or a minute before it is lost here on the Steemit. Wiped out by the flash flood of upcoming posts. And it will increase as the number of bloggers increases. I may be wrong but its the first impression I got from this platform. I am not saying that my starting content is outstanding but its interesting for people who share same interest. Basically, adventure sports, travelling, photography, videography, etc.
I was wondering is there a way which I don't know of? Or is this how Steemit is? Can anyone recommend me any strategy which will be helpful?
I will be posting a lot of stuff as I travel which I do a lot. :)
Thanks.. Have a good day.. :) @gonewiththewind

Hi, welcome to steemit.

Thanks.. Let's see how it goes..

This is my first week on Steemit and I have the same question. My first post did ok but other post seem to get engulfed lol.

I've decided that I'm going to take today (my day off) and spend it on Steemit and try to figure out how it all works and see if I can learn from other creators on here. Maybe I'll figure out a way to keep my post trending.

I'll be checking back here to see if you get any other replies. Hope to see you around.

This post is already swept away mate.. lol :D
