You know, I lived in NZ for 3 months where all of the LOTR was filmed and not once did anyone offer me any of said delicacies!
I did however manage to score myself some cider at the Green Dragon though, so that was cool :)

I'd love to have a pint at the GreenDragon by Bywater on Bywater Road near the shire if memory serves me... Guess I'll just have to settle with the caribbean waters for the moment ;-)
You should make it happen! I lived in a camper van touring around all of it for the 3 months and it was an incredible experience.
I happened to show up on my birthday, being the most enthusiastic person there, many patrons at the bar gifted me their cider... see here:
