WORKING WITH A PRIVATE COMPANY IN AFRICA

It is a whole lot of experience while working with a private Company, particularly in Africa. I do not mean the Multi-Nationals, or those who have Foreign connections. I mean the glorified One man Business. The Management will want you to become a Magician, a Wizard or any of such things. <> They would want you to meet your target, while at the same time
intentionally giving you an unattainable target. <> They would want you to deliver, but at the same time they will be the very reason why delivering will be difficult, if not impossible. They are always ready to blame you for their own errors.
But guess what. All they do to frustrate their employees turns out to be the very motivating factor for those employees who had developed tick skin.
If you find, yourself in such work environment as an employee, just develop a tick skin. A very strong and tick skin.
Convert all the demoralising factors to your motivating factors. Prove to the environment that you are worthy of the
position trusted to you, no matter the challenge. One christian musician once said ...' If you catch hell, don't hold it. If
you are passing through hell, don't stop'. I believe I'm communicating with some who at the present, is considering, ' trowing in the trowel' as the only available option.
I advice you, a worst pay cheque is better than non. I you believe in God. Pray to him. He is capable of turning everything around for the better.
To some, this post might make no sense. Because it is meant for the very few.
