My Introduction - Interl0per

Hello Steemit, my name is Josh, I am often referred to by my in-game name or ign: Interl0per. I just joined Steemit thanks to an introduction to this website from a friend of mine. I found it best to give a brief intro to who I am. So I'll start by saying that I love gaming and talking to friends. Below you will read a little bit more in depth about me, I hope you enjoy.

My intent for this platform is to spread my love for gaming to others, as well as to educate people on certain games and technology as a whole. Besides gaming, technology is my passion, ranging from staying caught up on the latest released technology, to buying that technology and building a computer with it. Something about today's era of ever growing possibilities always seems to come back to technology in my mind. Most of what we have today was a dream for people who weren't around when technology was present, and that amazes me.

Going back to my passion for gaming, I'll explain a little more about what kind of games I play. I'll start off by saying I love first person shooter games, or fps games. With this, I enjoy the Battle Royale genre, but not strictly that. Specific games I enjoy playing include Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Playerunkown's Battlegrounds, Fortnite, Realm Royale, and various others, those being the main few. I won't delve too much into why I like each game, as they're different reasons for each, but it all comes back to that fps or sometimes third-person shooter genre.

Going back to my history about gaming, my first game was LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga on the Xbox 360 when I was in kindergarten, and eventually after many games on the Xbox, I got my first PC. I started by playing some moba's, mmo's, Minecraft, etc. though eventually, a game called Overwatch came out in 2016, which I played for most of that year and slightly into 2017. While I don't play Overwatch today, it is what got me into fps games as well as giving me fundamental skills like teamwork and pretty good aim. That takes us to where I am today, playing new and old fps games, that I think may interest me, right now with Fortnite being the game I have the most skill in, racking up 307 wins as of writing this.

As I mentioned, I enjoy talking to friends, usually via the program Discord. In my free time, I'm usually talking with my friends, as I feel it strengthens friendships and just creates for more fun in day to day life. The best part about discord is that people can come and go as the please in certain voice and text channels, and I have formed some pretty great friendships with people I don't know in person, like the person who suggested me to this platform, whom I will leave anonymous, but it really has been great to meet so many new people.
