Hi! I'm Jasmine from a kibbutz in Israel - an educator / life-long learner / raw food vegan / animals lover

Hi everyone,

My name is Jasmine and I live in a kibbutz, close to the sea, in the north of Israel. I am glad to be part of the steemit community!
I was born in the kibbutz 30 years ago. For those of you who don't know, a kibbutz is a type of socialist community: We celebrate holidays together and have our own special holidays, we have a dining room where everyone can eat together, we have cultural life for all ages - the children at the children company, teens at the teens company and the elders (80+) have a club. In addition, it's very important in the kibbutz to help each other through social benefits.

I am a teacher in a primary school nearby and also a private tutor. I love helping the kids and enjoy spending time with them.
I am also a raw food vegan for the past 4 years. In Israel it's very common to be vegan and there are a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and vegan food. I care a lot about animals' rights and do my best to help and protect them.

I would love to share with you my experiences in the kibbutz, lessons I have learned during a 9 years healing journey I am about to finish, get to know people from all over the world and learn some new things.

My main guide in life is that love is the strongest force.
