My journey on steemit begins
Hey Steemians
Hello to everyone in the world of Steemit. So glad to finally get started in the community
My name is Jay and i'm a child of the 80's (surely the best of times to be born right??)
I was born in Ghana but have lived pretty much in 
London all my life
( Does steemit have many people from either UK, London or Ghana, Africa?? Which part of the world Are you from? )
So I live in East London in a place called Leyton with my beautiful girlfriend, she's called Eve and I just love her eyes an smile
we both love photography and have a mini studio we practice learn and grow in.
I enjoy playing and watching football. I support Manchester United and have done all my life
(wheres my Red army? )
Are there any Premier League football watchers and fans out there? and whats your top 4 predictions for the coming season? My Perdiction is 1. Man U 2. Man C 3. Tottenham 4. Chelsea
I'm in to graphic and web design and have designed a few logos and built websites for friends and family over the years
I tried my own design on the steemit logo on Adobe Illustrator. please let me know your thoughts on it?
Some say i'm a bit of a nerd as i didn't quite grow out of reading comic-books and id say to them, yeah, so? lol
I went to the London film & comic con over the weekend so hopefully will put up the pictures up over the next few days so stay tuned.

What camera did you use for these photos?

Hi Rob. I use a Nikon D5300 or sometimes my girlfriends D5200 but I believe it was the 5300 with the Sigma zoom 17 - 50 lens. The last pic is definitely taken on my girls d5200. Are you into photography yourself ?

My girlfriend is into photography, and I need to get her a new camera. Wish her hobby was baking... Cheaper :)

I feel your pain fella lol what is she using at the moment. You can usually find the camera body's for good prices but lenses can be very pricey. Do u have an idea on which one or brand. I can definitely vouch for Nikon, I've worked with it for few years now and they are fantastic. I have friends who will swear down that cannon but I say meh. Haha In all honesty it doesn't really matter about the make. Good luck and happy hunting
Thanks for the recommendation! She only has a coolpix now... Have to gradually upgrade her. Don't want to start with $5k worth of gear.. Because then where, from there? When she wants more gear... Her new budget would be above the $5k mark.. Haha. (And by her budget, I mean mine).
