But before we continue, let me introduce myself...

I'll start with a simple "Hello".
Because I realize that my audience isn't a particular region or timezone any longer. It isn't manipulated to be aimed at a certain gender, race or nationality anymore. It's much, much broader than that. Instead it's now the entire decentralized and uncensored Steemian population. It's liberating. It's the beginning of true freedom.

So, Hello!

The name's Jacques. No use hiding it, social media knows it all. I won't ramble on too much, I simply thought it was now the time to introduce myself after getting to know the platform and technology a bit better. So here I am, semi-fresh from centralized & super-censored social media and I'm proud to be a part of something revolutionary, dare I say.

I was bitten by the crypto bug a few months ago after, funnily enough, my mother introduced me to Bitcoin by telling me about her cloud mining investment. I was very skeptic. Not about Bitcoin, but about her mining investment. And with that I delved deep into researching this crazy new world as much as I possibly can to understand what she had invested so much of her money into. So. Much. Learning.

But I got bit. Hard! Fast forward a few months and I had a finger in almost every pie, so to speak; I owned Bitcoin, I bought a mining contract, I myself was mining. I was staking coins in wallets, I was staking coins in pools. I was collecting free coins from faucets & airdrops - decent amounts at that - and using that to buy more major coins. And then I found Atlantis, aka. "Steemit", and immediately grasped the vast potential it has. Now, truth be told, I recently had to liquidate most of my investments in order to do some fiat transactions, But only two investments remain; Bitcoin and Steem. Bitcoin being financial and Steem being an intellectual investment.

Now just to quickly explain myself and what can be expected of my presence here. I'm a crypto & car fan as well as a somewhat-professional photographer and videographer, doing jobs at weddings, corporate, television and other random projects. Along with cryptocurrency interactions, I want to share long-lasting information that will contribute for more than just one day. And if I find content I think fits that my bill or tickles my spidey sense, I'll resteem it for more users to find and learn from or enjoy.

But essentially, the TL;DR on what my blog and myself is about; Crypto, Photography, Cinematography and a few random things sprinkled in between.
