DaoStreet

DaoStreet is a distributed community of individuals who interact across digital public blockchain protocols. Formally, the individuals working for DaoStreet are John Conlin and Ryan King. John is an American with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a law degree, both from the University of Michigan. Ryan is also American and a graduate of the Ross School of Business (UofM) with a focus in Finance and technical operations.

Both John and Ryan see the potential for cryptographic assets and protocols to impact the market for many goods and services. More specifically DaoStreet seeks to offer helpful commentary on blockchain related news/events and invest in growing platforms and communities.

DAO is an acronym for Decentralized Autonomous Organization. DAOs leverage computer code and logic to organize the provision of goods and services without the need for centralization in a single point of failure such as a board of directors or labor union.

Dao is also a concept in the Eastern Chinese tradition which signifies “The Way” or the boundary between Chaos & Order. This limit, while symbolic, underpins the human experience. In markets and in all other endeavors humans must find an optimum between the known and the unknown. In the cryptoasset industry this can be especially challenging. DaoStreet seeks to help others along this journey between Chaos and Order.

Some of the projects DaoStreet supports (in no particular order)

I was waiting for this article. Will you, in the future, explain all the projects that DaoStreet supports?

Absolutely. We plan to release articles detailing each project and have the leaders of each explain it in their own words.

This is interesting. Yensesa is very popular in my country -Ghana- and very innovative as well. It enables steemers like me to withdraw STEEM or SBD straight to my phone within realistic time with low fees. However, I didn't know DAOStreet is a greater supporter of such an innovative platform. I recently signed up on Bitshares... it's really dope as well. It has very nice UI, and it is user friendly.

Thanks @kwadjobonsu, we are very glad to be building technologies that support the African Community. We will be happy to have you join us on discord: https://discord.gg/3v2A4An

These guys have great influence considering the projects they suppport, i recently withdrew some sbd from yensesa and within 10 minutes i had my money in my mobile wallet, it's a great work they are doing there, am gonna take a look at the other platforms and see how they operate

@nattybongo, thank you for letting us know your experience on Yensesa. We are working very hard to even make it more awesome. We will be happy to have you join us on discord: https://discord.gg/3v2A4An

Excellent, I'm a fellow Big Ten grad (Illinois)...looking into the Ross Walker School of Business :)

Nice brotha! Loads of respect of U of I. Love to see another Big Ten alum out here in the cryptoverse.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Ross MBA.

Ya DaoStreet! I was wondering if your name had anything to do with the Dao. I was already a fan, and now I am a bigger fan.

We have nothing to do with The DAO project on Ethereum from a couple years ago. Although I was influenced by the SEC report on them last summer - that prompted me to read Nick Szabo's work from the 1990s and that really set me down the rabbit hole!

I think The DAO was an innovative concept at the time and was disappointed to learn of its demise.

Hi @john-robert, I'm glad to see @yensesa enlisted in your projects. We will broadcast this to the people of @accra. I must commend you for being a true visionary. Looking forward to more success.

Thank you for spreading the ideas. We are much more powerful together.

Seem to almost have missed this one - now Resteemed!

Superb introduction and description, I've also been looking forward to seeing this. Having known you guys for a while, I see endless potential - and great to be collaborating with you on Bitshares.

Welcome to Steemit john-robert. Let me know if you got any questions about Steem or anything related to it! The official FAQ can be found here and has A LOT of information https://steemit.com/faq.html - Also remember, Steemit is just ONE of the sites built that uses Steem the blockchain. We also have DTube - our very own Youtube, DSound for Soundcloud and Steepshot if you prefer Instagram like experience. I'd also like to mention ChainBB - forums, Busy - Steemit with more modern look basically, DMania for memes and Dlive for streaming just like in Twitch! You can also earn Steem by gaming now! Search for Steemgar if that's more your thing. Welcome to the blockchain! :)

Te doy una calurosa bienvenida a Steemit, espero leer buenos posts de tu parte.
