RE: Blockchain: The Antithesis of Bureaucracy

“if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."

That is a great mantra! It reverses my train of thought from "it's too hard to explain to others", to "I've got to learn this better. What questions could I ask that would help me drive my understanding deeper?"

In what ways do you see blockchain as a force for good?

I like it's ability to help people directly connect with value.

I've tried blogging before, but it always felt like shouting into a void. Steemit creates a direct and nearly instant way of connecting value to reward, which has encouraged me to write much more in two months than I'd written in the past two years.

The ability to connect people with value, cheaper and faster and with greater transparency than existing models, will have huge implications on so many things.

As new generations with an appetite for instant gratification grow up, our world needs to grow up with them, and start rewarding even the tiniest offerings of value. So that it's not a choice between years of school and decades of 40 hour weeks or being broke all your life. It's endless opportunities to provide value, and saying yes to ones that feel best to you.
