Jumping in head first! Starting Steemit on Christmas Day
Hello everyone!
My name is Kylie and I am finally jumping in head first to this community that I have heard nothing but wonderful things about and figured what better day to do that then on Christmas! :) Some family members of mine are super into this, and after spending just today looking at it together...there is no way I can stay away any longer!
I am currently living in LA and have been for almost 3 years now! Grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where I lived in a log cabin on 30 acres of land in the middle of the woods. You wouldn't be surprised to see a deer or some other critter in your back yard when you looked out your window. (Which I love, being as I am a hunter/animal lover) Totally different from where I am now, huh? Life has a funny way of taking you out of your comfort zone when you least expect it!
I have always been a shy person, but not by choice. My confidence growing up was non existent most days...and I found myself unable to start or hold a conversation in fear that what I was bringing to the table wasn't good enough. I didn't have any confidence in myself and it effected my relationships with others. I would get in my own head and ruin things for myself because I didn't feel as though I deserved anything good to happen to me. I didn't even realize how bad I was until I found the man I am with now. I can't thank him enough for everything he has done for me and continues to do for me every day. He makes me a better person! You'll see a lot of posts about my California man and his wonderful family that took me into their homes and hearts!
You will also see a lot of posts about my little puppy, Kobe. He is a 1 year old Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese) with a great head of hair and one heck of a personality! You wouldn't believe how photogenic he is too!! (I can admit when I'm jealous of a dog lol) He is a registered service animal so he makes our travels much more enjoyable wherever we go. I definitely feel you should spend your time traveling if you are able to do so and we are lucky enough to have the privilege of bringing our fur baby everywhere we go! He definitely is like our child.

Oh my goodness your post just made me so happy! I love Kobe so much so seeing that he is already bringing smiles to peoples faces is a wonderful feeling! One proud dog momma right here :)
And seeing all of the wildlife in my yard is definitely something I miss, but there is plenty of time left I hope for that to happen again in my future! Plus whenever I go back and visit Mom and Dad I get a taste of that again :)
