Welcome to the world... even at my age, I still have so many questions.

There are many kinds of people in the world... so many bring joy into the world by thier presence. Then there are those who bring joy to the world when they leave....

What is it in todays world that keeps us from really being able to start to bring mindsets together.

Why are there those people in the world that breed and fester intimidation, hate and fear tactics?

Why does it cause people to physically destroy others to take for themselves?

Why are so many afraid to open thier souls to the realities around them?

More mind provoking questions to come...
who is up to the challenge of looking inward at humanity.

Not searching for extrapilated theories, but thoughts for the everyday person to ponder on, digest, contemplate, maybe even begin to heal what ever haunts they carry...

Sort:

We need to search our souls for the answers to these questions, we need to reflect daily, on a deep level, how are we ok with the condition of our reality, and what can we do to improve our world for the people who are not yet born.
I feel like many are subject to mind control, where negativity is concerned, we choose to open our minds to people who are going to fill it with bologna, fox news and the like cause those who fester to go gangrenous in their toxic mentality, forcing us into thought patterns which hurt not only our ability to develop empathy, but also further incite hatred in those who are already comfortable with social violence.

When people open up to the reality around themselves, it can be painful, people are unwilling to suffer the effects of the mentality they carry with them, the people don't want to feel those things, this is why beer, opioids, and other forms of numbing are so prevalent in our culture here in the usa.

Thanks for asking difficult questions, I LOVE THIS POST!
Also thanks for all of the upvotes!
Take some time to read the FAQ page learn about how this all works, there are so many layers of steemit, it can be overwhelming.

@originalworks

You always have good words, Tawasi. Happy to be here... MNI WICONI. Ohan.

This site is super useful, it shows what your voting power is, also who has been upvoting your posts, what your rewards will be and how your posts are preforming.

It is recommended that you allow your voting power to build all the way up to 100%, and use maybe 40 or so votes per day, that way your vote keeps most of it's value.
Not sure how much you have read of the FAQ page, I have read it over a few times, still making sense of it.
From what I understand, when your vote power is closer to 100% then you get more rewards for voting on posts, which the earlier you vote on it, the larger your reward.

Hey Laura, nice post.

I believe that eastern philosophy has the answer for your pondering. Look and you will find.

Welcome to Steemit. Looking forward for more of you. :)

Thank you. I follow a more spiritual path, I honor the Red road. I have a fairly wide understanding of theologies and earth based beliefs. I want to help to provoke people to think, as openly as possible. So many blinders anymore...

Can you explain the Red Road?

Native American most prefer that, but I just say Indian.
