Hello Steemit from a mother, wife, and steemian. Here's my introduction.

Hello Steemit! I have posted once on here already, but have yet to post my introduction article. My son and husband told me I should, so here it is:

Here I am with @remlaps and @cmp2020

Hi my name is Lisa Palmer. I am 49 years old; in less than one month I will be fifty years old. My main hobby used to be needle point, but I have a tremor now. So, when I attempt to work on a piece, it is very slow going. I also need to use reading glasses to see the pattern on the paper, as well as on the piece itself.

My new main hobby is watching the ID discovery channel where I watch all of the shows about murder mysteries. I have been studying murder mysteries since high school. I have read many books on the subject, and I continue to be fascinated by this subject to this day. I intend to write about serial killers, mass murderers, and unsolved crimes that I learn about in my research. I also enjoy spending time with my two German Shepherd Dogs, and five cats. Most of my time, however, is devoted to my husband Steve (@remlaps), and shuttling my 16 year old son, Christopher (@cmp2020), everywhere.

This is one of my needle point projects from years ago.

My husband is quite intelligent, and has two masters degrees in addition to his bachelor of arts degree from Eastern university. I, myself, went to West Chester university, and had to leave just 20 credits short of graduating. My future goal, when Christopher goes to college, is go back to school and earn a degree as a Veterinarian's technician. I am very good at caring for sick animals, due to my experience helping my parents to care for, breed, and raise Burmese cats during my youth.

Thank you for reading this! I am very excited to start writing articles, and to continue reading and voting on all of the awesome articles on this platform! See you later!

Hello @lisa.palmer, welcome to Steemit.
I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Nice to know about you, your family and your hobbies and your liking for murder mysteries.

Keep writing and keep steeming.

I'm hugely addicted to the ID channel. I get free Dish in this apartment I moved into a year ago, and I literally had to create my own custom dish channel that doesn't include ID ( or OWN, or msnbc ) because one glance on the onscreen schedule to see what they're covering, made me sabotage my progress in blogging, building my app, etc.

So I don't see the channel when I channel surf, but I allow myself to go to it on weekends. It's so fascinating. I think I enjoy the aspect of how the detectives track these people and catch them.

I've read at least 15 true crime books as well, but stopped that, because that's on a whole 'nother level of time expenditure.

For yourself as someone who will write about it, that's perfect research is always good. Best wishes on that
