Hey :) I'm a singer and selftaught composer new to Steemit and this is my IntroduceYourself
Hello to all that find the time to look over this little post.
I am a 23 year old former Youtuber known as Avengeline but I had given up on creating content. As many people nowadays do, I've been battling depression for a long time but it has gotten more and more severe over the past year. I had lost all interest in the things that I love and I am only finding my way back to music very slowly.
A few days ago I heard from a friend about Steemit and it kinda seemed like an opportunity to start sharing my music again, on a whole new platform that isn't as demanding as Youtube. I feel like maybe here I can create something when I feel like it and don't do it when my inspiration is gone but I'll still be fine.
Here are a few tracks from my older days. I'm doing all kinds of genres but I love movie soundtracks a lot so that is where my main inspiration comes from.

Thank you for supporting me! This community is unexpectedly nice :O Right now it feels like the nicest place on the internet. I mean Steemit kinda tries to prevent unnecessary hate and discouraging in its guide lines but I would have never thought that it would actually work.

I can feel you, I am as well fighting depression currently and music is one of the only things that still make my heart feel like its pumping actual life through my veins, which is a feeling I usually don't feel anymore. Music helps me feeling like a child again, just dancing and by that doing what your body desires, shaking it all off. But that usually only lasts for a few minutes. I can only wish you the best and that you stay strong! I really loved your songs :)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Music to me is also the closest I can get to what you describe. Hopefully one day we'll be able to transfer that to the rest of our life ;) You stay strong too!

I'm sorry Depression has slowed down your life, it's a horrible disease. I hope that you get involved in the Steem community, particularly the music and photography sections and form relationships... and then hopefully inspiration will follow. Good luck on the platform.
