Dear Steemians,

A little bit about myself...

I grew up in the most beautiful place on earth
A little town hidden in a mountain range

My soul was nurtured by sunsets and sunrises,
By sun rays reflecting colours in the lake,
By early mornings with cow bells ringing in the fields
The Mountains served as backdrop to the scene

I pledge my allegiance to Mother Earth
And swear to love and to protect her,
And the Earthlings that walk her ground
I do not eat animals, for they are my friends

I refuse to abide by the orders that harm her
I do not support the multinationals
That dump their waste onto her skin
I do not support the systems
That strip her bare, exploit her
Leaving nothing of the fertile soil she provides

I do not support the governments that bomb her
That exploit her, that pump her blood,
That dig deep into her bosom,
To find what they could profit off

I support the power of the people
United in their quest for change,
To create a new system,
To stop overconsumption, and reduce the waste

I want to save the only earth we have to walk on
She is selfless in the beauty and the love she gives

To give that back to her, is the least that we can do

As you may have noticed I’m vegan, I do not like the idea of feeding big multinationals and do not like the current financial system, which is why I got interested in Cryptocurrency and ended up on STEEM.

I hope that you will enjoy reading my poetry, which is mainly erotic and philosophical.
I will also write the odd article about inefficient food production systems and what can be done to change them, as this is what my degree is in. I may also post about my vegan journey for anyone who would be interested in transitioning, or simply finding ways to change up their diet.
