I'm very excited to be apart of this amazing community, and I want to start my introduction off by saying a simple hello to everyone! I can't wait to start sharing interesting, creative, and informative content.

My name is Maxine, and I am a writer, blogger, photographer, and all-around creative soul. As someone who is continually discovering new passions, I try my best to explore the heck out of them. I decided to take a nontraditional path and skip out on going to college; I didn't know what my path was and didn't want to waste four years doing something I wasn't passionate about only to come out of college exactly where I started. Being in my early 20's I know there is no rush to figure out exactly how my life needs to go, the best part of life is the journey and finding out new things about yourself as the days go past. Now I feel I'm on a path that is 100% original to me that is revealing itself bit by bit.

I live in sunny Florida, where I draw much of my inspiration from blue skies, beautiful beaches, rainy afternoons and warm cups of tea. Writing has always been crucial to me because it lets my creativity and imagination run wild. I write to share my passions with others and to help people discover theirs. On my blog, I'm going share life and all of the crazy wonderful things it has to offer. It's going to be full of recipes, travel, lifestyle tips, crafts, and even some rambling thoughts from time to time.

My goals it to become a full-time blogger. I want the freedom to travel the world and explore beautiful places I'm currently only dreaming of; I believe blogging is something that can offer me the freedom I'm longing for. I hope you follow along on my adventure of discovery in all aspects of life!

Five Quick Fire Facts:

1. My favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio; however, I don't like nuts so I always pick them out. I was once told I was one of a kind for doing this, don't know if I believe that but it made me feel special.

2. I can't whistle though I'm always trying. Usually nothing comes out but air, sometimes there is the faintest noise, and I get excited thinking I finally got the hang of it but that's yet to happen.

3. I've always loved writing whether it is typing for others to read or journaling for my future self to look back on and reminisce. As much as I love writing, I also enjoy reading, specifically psychological thrillers.

4. Animals hold a special place in my heart. Being an only child animals have always been my siblings. I currently have three dogs, six cats, and a turtle.

5. I can't keep a plant alive to save my life. We have a love-hate relationship, I love them and try my best to tend to their needs but they always die, so I've decided it must be because all plants hate me.
