Hi Steemers! I want to tell you about How my dad left me in the sea when the storm was there

I was I little eight-year girl that simmer. My dad served on a submarine so he has had subscription to disclose and because of that, he hasn’t been able to go abroad about ten years. Thus, mom, dad and I had a rest in Russia, in sunny Anapa, where the Black sea is. I has been swimming really well but my dad, of course, has been the best swimmer I have ever seen. We were going to Anapa in summer lot’s of times. My dad and I always put on our masks and lasts and swam as far as we could. The depth, where we were, sometimes was about 40-60 meters. I was really impressed and excited when my dad has taken a huge beautiful curled shell from 40 meters depth. We were swimming on 10-20 meters depth more often because I wasn’t able to plunge on 40 meters without aqualung which is illegal for people under 18. I wanted to get beautiful shells too!

Our adventures

One day we, as every day, went to the beach at 10-11 a.m. The weather was a little bit windy but it was very comfortable to lay under the sun without a tent. However, my dad and I didn’t like to lay on the sun, we liked swimming a lot very far and took great fantastic shells from the sandy sea bottom. Sometimes we met different fishes and other habitants of this amazing place but not really a lot of them because the Black sea isn’t as rich as, for example, Red sea. Nevertheless, there were many kinds of usual and strange stones, shells. There were areas where was nothing except huge and long, intertwining, absolutely closing the bottom and stirring slow under the influence of the flow seaweeds. We even met an octopus one time. Sometimes we found many cool sea urchins and even morays. We wasn’t scared of sea urchins because we had has the lasts. Vice versa, we were trying not to step on them because we didn’t want to feel them pain. You should just be careful and try not to touch it by your hands. We didn’t have gloves so we were looking for that fact. Moreover, we didn’t touch morays because the bite of this creature doesn’t heal up about a year. We had a lot of water adventures: we were swimming to wild islands, we went into the underwater caves and even found sometimes the expensive glasses. I think it were glasses of people who have had a yacht-party and have drunk too much. Anyway, it were great and incredible glasses: Ray Ban, Gucci, Dolche&Gabana and so on. We have found glasses for all our family. Yes, we had a lot of adventures in the Black sea, then in a lot of other seas, then in different oceans except the Arctic ocean.

The storm

How I said earlier, there has been very windy on the beach that day. The waves were nearly a half of meter in length. Of course, the weather like that isn’t suitable enough to swim too far. However, I and especially my dad were perfect swimmers. We decided the weather won’t crush our plans and we went to get shells like every day. I don’t know why but my dad decided to go swimming in shorts, not just in his swimming trunks. When we were far away from the buoys, the depth under us was nearly 20 meters and the waves didn’t even think to get a bit quieter, my dad has reminded that he hadn’t put off the mobile phone from his shorts. He swam to the coast very fast, like a dolphin; I didn’t even understand what was going on. Thereby, I didn’t have any choice except to swim to the coast by myself. It was unbelievable hard. I was swimming to the coast about two or three hours. My dad was a military so he raised me as a soldier at the free time of businessman’s work, of course. He didn’t even think to return and to help me.

When I went on the coast very tired, absolutely exhausted, I saw the picture like that: my dad who was laying on the sun and my mom who was running through the coast and trying to see me in the water. Actually, she always pushed my dad, shouted at him and tried to make him go and find me. He answered that I was a big strong and independent girl and that I didn’t need any help. My mom would have helped me without any doubts but she didn’t swim. My dad was trying to teach her but, unfortunately, she really has been scared of water from her childhood. Actually, I’m really thankful for things that my dad was doing. My dad has shown me how to go through everything without any support.
When I came to my parents, my mom hug me so strong that I couldn’t breath. She was really happy, she told she has been worried about me so much. My dad just was continuing to lay on the sun. He told to my mom: «Do you see now? She can do so easy things by herself, without any support. I was sure she will come back not later than after three hours».

By the way, my dad was teaching me to swim in a very interesting way: he just through me out of the boat when we were in the middle of the lake. It has worked, you know! I’m a really good swimmer and diver now.
