Who Are We?

We are new Open Advocacy and Open Source, Steemit only blog made up of Open Source community blog contributors across the world (especially in Africa). For some months now we have explored the open waters in various aspects of technology on our Twitter account where we share the latest Open News. We have finally decided to get a blog but instead of spending money on hosting plus domain we have chosen Steemit a blockchain based, decentralized and open platform which we have followed since it's early days. Here we also don't need to bother about monetization, we can also share more Open News from around the world from various members of this community. We strongly believe that Steemit will be the go to social platform in years to come.

What Do We Intend To Do Here?

We intend to write articles on the various Open Communities around the world such as Wikipedia, Mozilla, Creative Commons, Open Street Maps, etc. We will cover their events, community updates, latest innovation and more. Open Source software news would also be included in our articles: Reviews, how-to videos (cross posted from Youtube) and more. Our current content calendar includes at least an article every two days and a weekly digest every Saturday/Sunday).
