Steemit for New Users. Useful Links and Tips.

Hello community!

I started on steemit not so long ago so I know how confusing can be when you find out about, steemians, Curie, Discord channels, challenges, contests, steemfollowers and a lot of other things... I was thinking about writing about all of those and more but truth is that all that info is already out there in other posts so, im just gonna give you the links and a little more info, hope you find it useful! :)

First a few basic tips:

Posts get rewards for the writer for 7 days so, after the post reaches 7 days dont waste your voting power, just dont upvote old posts, if you like an old post you can comment on it and to support the author you can vote a newer post.
When posting quote your sources and use your own photos. Is better if you use all new content, things that you never posted before on other sites. This is just if you wanna get rewarded by Curie for your posting (Curie is a group of curators that helping keep the content level high quality)
https://steemworld.org/@USERNAME Go to this link changing "USERNAME" for your user name to check how high is your voting power, and a lot of detailed info that you cant see on steemit.com (E.I. how much you got from each vote individually)
