My introduceyourself post! Hello :)
Hello :)
I'm a Polish up-and-coming (as my uncle Krzychu duly keeps asserting me...) gaming youtuber, nearing 30. I have quite a sense of humour, a good mic, a bad pc and a miserable voice, imagine not even being able to utter Polish "r," which surely has to be irritating for the ladies... Other interests (to count only a few) include: music & literature - both as a fan and a (largely self-taught) creator, politics, philosophy, matters of honing my English pronunciation, a little sports here and there (especially combat) and stuff... truly dozens of areas in which I have at least a certain degree of interest. And the newest one of them seems to be steemit and the general crypto market. Here it is surely more interest than knowledge. It all just seems so promising...
My steemit is intented as a suppliment for the slowly growing YT channel, and for my possible D-Tube/D-Live thingies soon. Which are to be done mostly in Polish, I think. And if I ever decide to record gaming, or other things in English, it may then be better to start a brand new channel for that very purpose. So basically this steemit starts parallel with my YT, for it's not that big of a channel, even though 1 y.o. ('twas just 3 videos, you know...) What I intend Steemit for is to become the first of my social media, even if I decide to eventually show up on Twitter and Facebook, that is for reasons of their (speaking of now...) seemingly better outreach. Still I have big faith in this platform. I'm a neophyte, you may say.
So not only gaming will I post, possibly even less of it than may be expected. Some other stuff will surely pop up (like my writing or music-like creations...) and certainly I'll try to vote the right amount on worthy posts daily, and comment a lot, both in English and my native Polish.
My real name and face I prefer to conceal for now. But when I get published by a traditional editor, or if I grow up on the 'nets big enough, I intend to reveal them both.

Yeah, next content gonna be sh... in comparison :D Not that literate, but some freaking let's play on D-Tube or stuff... The Polish stark from the intro post is gonna be hard to beat xd
(I dunno, possibly some of my English-language comments will be valuable/just funny, as most of the kinda more original content will be Polish, I think).

Perhaps, yeah. But I'd much more like to rely on my truly original content, of which I have yet to post a thing! And it may still suck, especially if one buids his expectations on some comment. :) I mean content that's not really meta-rambling about steem and crypto's own sauce, but something else.
BTW Adding more to the topic of how to make big youtubers stay, that's like, uhm, another thing that is not good for the Steemit spread is the whole "sub for sub" attitude, and lots of dull regurgitating, without attemps of one's own insight, or at worst of a joke. Steemit needs original content to reach wide groups of people, on this backdrop some gems may then shine (and get obscured, as everywhere, that's reality...) and I hope I shall deliver at least a small amount of such content. It needs to move out from a hermetic state of self-reference to meet outsiders, to try and bring them in. It's like only when the first popular, if really shallow, celebrities, recognizable beyond Steemit, are created solely on basis of their posts on that very platform, that we can say Steemit is a worthy competitor. It should also proceed to be perceived as a legit and popular platform for blogging, better than blogspot, maybe even Twitter. (Adding friends - would it make it better suited against Fb?) And right now it seems - to an outsider - like a portal chiefly for economic speculation, weird white-collar con-men language, and, sadly but unescapably, like it was devised for some attempts of shady profiteering undertaken by the cheeky ones.
Stuff covered in media does not help either. Think Bitconneeeeect. Or, for example, propaganda campaigns against cryptocurrencies by the govts of some countries, like this one shown on Polish TV. The title of that short clip, which was made for the Ministry of Finance means: "And who are you going to be when the bubble pops? A KNF social campaign". It outright suggests that all cryptocurrencies are just pyramids. (Which are all banned in Poland, even if, according to American terms, they are not "Ponzi schemes"... of course, the execution of law which has been stated is a whole different story.)
