Announcing running for Owen Sound City Council.

26-year-old Riel Warrilow has submitted her name to run for the 2018 Owen Sound City Council.

Born in Owen Sound, Riel grew up near Harrison Park, and worked on her family farm on the east side of town.

Her work for the Canadian Coast Guard sent her all over the country, and now she says she's keen to roll up her sleeves and serve the community that raised her.

Since returning to Owen Sound, she and her partner have bought a home and Riel has recently joined the team at Troy Life and Fire Safety as a contract administrator. She is a member of the Owen Sound Legion and long time volunteer with the Owen Sound Little Theatre. "I'm passionate about working hard for a better Owen Sound," Riel says, "I look forward to connecting with community groups and individuals to ensure their voices are heard and represented on council."

Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
