MY INTRODUCTORY POST: ROAD TO STEEMIT ROAD TO SELF EMPOWERMENT

Hello Steemians, it is my privilege to be on this great platform with these minds and I must say the truth that it's indeed a great privilege for me. My name is Olowoyo Samuel Oluwatobiloba popularly known as SAMTOB, I'm a very humble and easy going person that believe in life at its simplicity, i'm an extrovert because I see everything around to be easy and never take anything to be complicated, SAMTOB is a very easy going person with a fear of God and I have so many potentials, I know definitely that one day I’ll be what I desired to be. I'm good at Graphic designs and AUTO-CAD designs.

I’m currently a 500level student of Urban and Regional Planning Department at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Lautech), Ogbomosho Oyo State in Nigeria. I'm a futuristic planner with a skilled knowledge on Geographic Information System (GIS) and all relevant planning software. As an urban planner, I understand the environment and nature, I believe in the ability of bringing out the environment aesthetic with the effect of proper and meaning use of the land. I hope one day I’ll be call upon to plan a country.

MY STEEMIT REFERRAL
I got to know about steemit through a close friend of mine @nuges who is also a planner like me with high thinking faculty. Kudos to @dan and @ned for their innovative faculty that give birth to this great learning community.

REASON FOR DEEMING THE PLATFORM FIT FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME
Steemit a platform I love so much because as a businessman, it offers me the opportunity to tell people (users like me) about what I love doing and enjoy most and I also get to teach people too about the planning world which I love doing most.

MY VISION
My vision is so simple and easy to accomplish and that’s to make Steemit a better place by helping fellow newbie like me to develop and also to teach as many as possible users about all what planning entails, how to solve problem relating to planning and how to make Nigeria and the world a better place through proper planning.

My heartfelt condolence to a lovely friend @surpassinggoogle and his whole family for the loss of their great Mama Mrs. Maria Ajayi Aranez, its indeed a great loss and I pray that the good God will uphold the whole Ajayi`s family at a time like this and give them the fortitude to withstand this great loss.

    Hello samtob! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
