Hello Steem!

Hello Steemians. I’m a soon to be mechanical engineer, I’m working in my profession field elaborating engineering products and gathering experience. I’m 24 years old and from Venezuela, you probably have heard a bit of the situation in my country, it’s very rough because inflation is eating our acquisitive power and opportunities, being this one of the reason I’m joining here (apart from that I really like the idea to value real and helpful information as seen here on Steem), and maybe get an opportunity to find and connect with people which I could be working with.

Lately I’ve been submersed in Computer Fluid Dynamics area, studying this amazing part of my career, and I’m getting better at using a CFD program called FLUENT, and learning more of the behavior of liquids and gases and what makes them so special. Mostly, this learning is done by my own (I only did one free course via internet), I have read a lot of CFD theory in FLUENT manual and theory guide, and complementing with what I read in the CFD forums and Mechanics of Fluids text book of Cengel, and soon I’m going to be learning about aerodynamics and searching for more texts books so I can get real good at this and see if I can start a freelance career on CFD.

My hobbies, they are kind on a halt because of work and college, but I really would love to make some music using my PC, I been reading and messing with some programs in my short and free time and I would like to get more of it, just for fun. Also I love to map and play DooM (that videogame from ’93), and it’s my longest hobby, since I was teen I been doing some maps, even I get in some maps and deathmatch tournaments. When I get a bit more of time, I will try to do a full modification and even go further and try to get a small videogame done.

Of music… I really like Depeche Mode, my favorite songs are “Freelove”, “In your room” and “When the body Speaks”, but generally, I really like their music… “Exciter”, for me, is a master piece, and so is “Playing the Angel”. Also I really like Negramaro, an Italian rock band, I really like their music, sadly I haven’t found anyone who likes them here on my social circles.

And well, I’m willing to share about CFD (as I can), about modding DooM, and to help and connect at every way I can. (I added some pictures, “the colorful and pretty pictures” I made from some CFD simulations and some screenshots from my maps of Doom).
