Hi there,

I identify as a stick figure. I don't have preferred pronouns. I enjoy victory whiskey , philosophy, art, poker, arguing and good company, but not necessarily in that order.

I am married to a pretty dope female and we have two boys. I am privileged to have all of them in my life. The amusement I get out of watching the boyos interact is only matched by -I don't know- Bill Burr's standup; seriously Bill Burr is fuckin' funny.

Well, I first heard about steemit while watching Adam Kokesh videos on YouTube. Then I saw this video. In it he talks about his growing frustration with YouTube and the steady decline of add revenue creators were receiving. Toward the end of the video he mentions , a blockchain video hosting service called DTube. This sounded like an interesting idea to me. What drew me to this idea was that, your success and earnings came from people upvoting your content. In his street interviews Kokesh tries to get people to understand the nature of government. He tries to help people understand the importance of self ownership and points out the fact that the government by their own definition are literally felons. One might describe them as super predators. Sometimes people get it; sometimes they don't. Regardless of the outcome it is always pretty funny to see the reaction when people disagree with him. So after viewing his video I started to read into crypto currency and it is an idea I can get behind. The look on my face when I found out the value of bitcoin, was nothing short of shit my pants shocked.
I had thought about bitcoin before, but didn't realize the potential it had of increasing capital and that there were hundreds of crypto currencies out there. So I looked into steem and read the Steem White Paper and I like the ideas that it put out. Why not join a social media platform that you could potentially earn from?

My intention is to entertain, engage, learn, make new friends and maybe earn some "clams or bones whatever you call them." If there is any one idea I hope you take away from this steemit profile, it is that which is a law of nature and undeniable. You own yourself and you alone, are entitled to do with your property what you wish.
