New STEEM based gaming platform - TavernGames.io
taverngames.io
Hello wanderers, my name is Thamrog Bottlebringer, I am a dwarf and the keeper of TavernGames. |
I know, you will probably think that as a dwarf I should stay in a mine or fight somewhere with elves. You can't be more wrong... In the case of my clan, we have completely different tasks like serving pints of beer and listening to drunkard’s stories.
If you want to see it with your own eyes, come to my Tavern and you will be taken care of like nowhere else. The tavern was built by the Goblin prince who didn't know what to do with his wealth. He has got his own favorite game and you can play with him when you come to visit us.
What is TavernGames
- new (probability) game platform on STEEM
- 100% provably fair, transparent and random
- login secure
- fantasy lore with custom made graphics
- items and league system
- daily quests
- on-boarding for new players
- and more...
Provable Fairness and Transparency
TavernGames is 100% fair and transparent. For drawing results, we use a mechanism based on a key selected by the player and a key randomly generated by the server. Moreover, everything is placed in the blockchain so you can compare the results on your own!
You will find a tab with details on the Tavern's website.
Login security
In order to enter the tavern, you must first log in using the SteemConnect. As we do not save your keys or data, you can be sure that your account is safe with us.
Smoothly played games and the best user experiences
Playing our games you will enjoy smooth running games.
Game results are immediately displayed, so no need to refresh the web page or search for your result in different types of tables. What is more, due to the best graphics that are used, you could experiance the best time in Tavern..
If you are unable to access a personal computer, our website has been designed for games to be played on mobile devices, so can be played anytime and anywhere.
Goblin's Prince game
Try to predict if the amount of the Goblins’s next sack contains more, even or less gems than yours and win STEEM!
During the game you can use different Items to win more STEEM and double your ranking points!
How to play
To join the game, you will need special coins that can be purchased in our shop. However, it is not the only way to get them! You can find them in the chests received for daily quests, ranking position at the end of the season or for recommending us to your friends.
Presently, the maximum value of the coin is 5 STEEM, we are in the course of the pilot season so as to check how the Tavern works. After that period, we are going to introduce more denominations.
Lack of deposit
TavernGames do not use any deposit mechanism. You do not have to deposit your STEEM to play our games. You buy as many coins as you need to play and the reward goes directly to your STEEM account!
Rewards
Using the Tavern, you can get rewards. They include different types of chests where you can find items allowing you to play the game, multiplying points scored in the ranking as well as the items increasing your chances to win!
Don't wait! Try out TavernGames, perform the everyday quests for 7 days for you to receive a special chest at the end of the week!
Spending the coins, you can score ranking points and at the end of the month and then you will receive a special reward! Inside the chest there are items returning the value of the coins you have used!
Recommend the game to your friends and enjoy yourselves together playing TavernGames. Perhaps you will be lucky and for the recommendation, you will be rewarded with an epic chest containing amazing items!
A chest for the beginner
If you decide to visit us, we have a surprise for you! Go to the tab marked onboarding and follow all the steps. Not only will you learn how the Tavern works, but you will also be rewarded with a chest for the beginner.
It contains a few items that will allow you to test our game FOR FREE!
Plans for the future
We are constantly improving our Tavern and we are also working on new games. Look for the information on steemit.com! We'll meet again soon!
Meanwhile, see you in the Tavern! Bye for now, wanderer! Don't forget to leave your weapon at the door. We don't tolerate any brawls here, we only want to have good fun. :)
the game looks nice, if you want i can run a giveaway of your tokens, like im doing now for other projects, see more at - https://steemit.com/steem/@kingscrown/any-of-steem-engine-tokens-dapps-wants-to-run-giveaway-with-me
Hi @kingscrown,
Sure! I'll check what's under the link and write to you on discord.
Greetings Thamrog, old friend!
After visiting your tavern i got some, maybe frequently asked, questions:
Is this intended, only maybe a bug, which has to be squashed by one of your beer glasses?
Greetings from a far far land and please accept my appologies for all grammar and spelling mistakes :-)

Oh, it's you @hamsterpoweriii.
I thought you were gone after your last visit. You got so drunk, you were heading to the door, you knocked some barrels on the floor. But relax, I took the blame, the Goblin was already snooping around who it was.
I told you, don't drink those last pints at once...
But what did you want?
Don't worry about your grammar! Who pays attention to this when have fun? :)
Thanks a lot for taking the blame.. I had a hard enough time explaining my stained cloths to my houseelf..
And thanks for your answers :-)
New day, sober and ready for some fun, i tried to mix the value of my gem sack order for a 2nd time. Worked smoothly and precise like a well payed goblin :-)
If you want to replace your houseelf with new one maybe consider taking part in the chest giveaway contest? It will fill your pockets!

Nah, he may be old, forgetful, grumpy, a bit lazy and forgetful, but somehow I have the feeling he is perfectly right for me :-)
But I still consider taking part in the contest :-)
Hi @taverngames
Welcome on steemit guys. Thanks for your introductin.
I just accidentaly bumped into your publication. Since we seem to share similar interests - I followed your account already,
post a bit to old to upvote. till next time
Yours, Piotr
Nice UI! And always good to integrate with existing projects.
Can you shed some light on why you chose a probability based game over the more traditional competition based games? Are they just easier to implement / more profitable?
Hi, @erickpinos
We're really glad you like it :)
Answering your question firstly we wanted to build a larger community around the Tavern, and then introduce competition games.
We'll even tell you that one of such games is almost ready :)
That's a very wise decision @taverngames
Glad to see that there are some solid devs, who also understand importance of building strong community around their project.
Good luck guys! :)
Piotr
What is wrong with people, why so high downvotes? I'm sure this will help with onboarding new developers on steem...
@acidyo @ocdb @oracle-d
@acidyo @ocdb @oracle-d @theycallmedan @threespeak @trafalgar I wanted to ask a similar question. How developers are supposed to feel encouraged to even think about developing something on steem blockchain? How @taverngames devs are supposed to feel encouraged to continue their work? They just used THE ONLY way to make the fruit of their work visible for the community of the blockchain that their website is dedicated to. Why punish them for that so hard? Do you really think that the vote bots were used to make profits from this post? The world is not black or white, there are many shades of gray, but you guys seem not to be aware of that. In my humble opinion, your reaction to this post is way too far exaggerated.
I replied to cardboard down in this post, hoping we place more attention to letting promoters know about the burn features with beneficiaries in the near future as I understand that's difficult to know when you get here. No need to cry about it that much though, it's not like they can't ever post or promote again. A simple "resteem to help us get visibility if you like the project" would've probably gotten the same amount of attention as trending does nowadays.
I absolutely agree with you @imperfect-one
Downvote abuse is damaging steem blockchain more than helping :/
ps. Wlasnie zauwazylem ze jestes z Wroclawia :))
And most of the people seem to forget the fact, that the downvoters are voting on each other posts and post of their alt accounts. Sounds absolutely honest, isn't it?
Hi again @imperfect-one
Can I ask you for little favour? I joined contest called "Community of the week" with project I manage and I would be grateful if you could RESTEEM it and help me get some exposure and drop some encouraging comment :)
Link to my post: on steemit or on steempeak
Thanks :)
Yours, Piotr
What's wrong with people, why complaining about those using their downvotes when barely any are? Just vote it up if you don't agree with the downvotes - which you did. No need to try and throw shade at the same time.
Unless you want people to think you're involved with this project or have other ulterior motives with that comment.
My only motives are to encourage new people and developers to build on steem. Vote from @tipu was for free because I really appreciate that there are people who take their time and money to make this platform valuable. Punishing them for doing so without any explanation in advance how this works is just wrong.
The post was downvoted from $120 to $30. Now it's a little better but still, clearly staying on trending for as long as possible is very important for services like these.
Now imagine that the dev is like "wtf, why I'm being punished, clearly those people don't want me here" - steem for sure will go far (and is going currently...) if we're gonna treat new people/devs(!) like this...
I did leave an explanation and I'm not the only one doing the downvotes, after the ocdb downvote and trail it was at $60 with plenty of trending attention. People are encouraged to develop and build here cause of the low uptime cost and the community waiting for new dapps to test them out, just because this one is another gambling dapp and aside from myself there were not many others testing it doesn't mean they should get free marketing on top of it all.
As I said if you felt it was overdownvoted you just had to upvote it, look at that other promoted post on trending that we can't even get under $90 anymore cause people like you don't even use their downvoting power. So maybe ease up on trying to guilttrip downvoters.
I think you don't see where STEEM is now (#81 marketcap), where it is going and how badly it needs every new developer / dapp. Free promotion for new dapp is not the worst thing that can happen to STEEM... I understand what you want to achieve but you're missing the point that your are discouraging people. Who knows, maybe one day STEEM will be exactly how you want it to be - with you as the only user...
This is not low-effort post to milk the system, it's an actual dev who put his time and money to create something on this platform. And it's not some open-source shitty gambling app, you can see the custom made graphics and the overall vision.
As for resteems - his previous intro post used no promotion and it simply got lost, totally unnoticed by anyone. Paid promotion is the most basic way to get attention and it should be in build into the very core of steem. Why it's not - I have no idea.
You clearly don't seem to know who you're talking to. But sure go ahead pretending to be the good guy who cares about new Devs on steem while discouraging people to use their downvotes. My goal here was to encourage them to burn rewards in the future like kryptogames did the other day by promising to burn post rewards and I voted that up "also for free" ( you're very generous btw ).
Honestly not even gonna bother reading the rest of your comment after that first shit. Keep using our marketcap rank to push your agenda while never using downvotes on your bid bot and we'll see how fast we'll turn into the shit we were pre HF.
I don't think I have the right to take money from other's people posts using SP that is not mine.
No idea why you get angry but it tells me that you might be misjudging a lot of things because of your negative emotions. You might be thinking that you're always 100% right, but you're not. No one is. The problem is that the damage you're doing sometimes is hard to fix - discouraged people probably won't come back. And you can tell yourself that those are only to milk the system and they're not worth to be here but as far as I know - everyone makes mistakes.
If you want to punish unaware users for their first, not intended mistake by taking 75% of their payout and the ability to promote their apps on steem - it's your call.
I get angry because "what is wrong with people" from someone who never uses downvotes to clean this place up judging those who do. Doesn't matter if it's your SP or not, it's delegated to you and you should use it to adjust where the rewardpool goes. One downvote equals one upvote to the rest of users which you already know. Then you go on to say that I want this place for myself while you by now should very well know my efforts for retention and onboarding. So, sorry but that sounded like it was coming out of your ass and I have no time to get into debates about bullshit like this when there's millions of other people and developers that don't know about steem so my frustration grows by the amount of replies and time I have to give you. I already explained the reason to my downvotes and why people should consider burning rewards in future promotion. Thanks for nullifying that and discouraging downvotes on promotion. Enjoy falling down the coinmarketcap ranks further when content discovery and proof of brain is dead again by having a trending full of garbage ads that barely lose any revenue by promoting it. Which is what got us down to this rank to begin with.
I was just wondering about it too @cardboard
crazy those whales
Sounds cool!
Hello, @whatsup
Then I hope to meet you at the Thamrog's counter :)
On STEEM, EOS or BITSHARES? have crypto? Human Trafficking Included. This is on VOICE as well. The developers are helping terrorists human traffic. WARNING
Self proclaimed community watchdogs are actually hacking and stalking people.
This group https://steemit.com/@steemspeak is ran by https://steemit.com/@fyrstikken. They are hacking people that enter this discord server https://discordapp.com/invite/sqxV63P . Once you are hacked they profile you long enough to know all of your activities. They introduce workplace gangstalking visits and bring it to your attention cleverly and discretely so only you get it. They are very covert and tricky with everything they say and do in this server. Some claim to have worked for or are working with the FBI and the NSA. Mixed with decommissioned traders and coding criminals, Its a scary mix of creepy people and their intent is to drive you crazy and deplete everything you have ever acquired in life, even your freedom.
My hacking started with them introducing ransomware that has options, dump my coin or delete my system drive. They acknowledged this to me in the server as it happened. I've been following this group since before it was on discord. I joined when it was on teamspeak.
This hacking and stalking is done so they can manipulate the target to pump and dump for them. Threatening and Making victims wear head phones, so nobody in your household can hear thier dramatization towards you. In 2017 this server was side marked as a drama show for entertainment purposes only as an excuse to say whatever they want all the way down to killing a politician. They have a server side command called "hey asshole" making a prompt come up instructing everyone to wear headphones. They want everyone wearing headphones so nobody in your vicinity can hear them mess with you. Fystikken says its because of "mic feedback" but once your a target you get exactly why they make everyone wear headphones.
With headphones on they subliminally direct victims with very low suggestive whispers mixed into their radio shows music. Combine this with them being able to manipulate their own individual outputs sound volume, which they control on the server side, they can pick what individual people hear at any given time. They decide who you hear on the server and change the volume controls for them. They can make some really low or off for those trying to investigate. They control who hears what and know who is who.
This team will find absolutely everything they can about you prior to using their suggestive and threatening program. They Introduce pictures that mean something only to the target, inducing paranoia while they watch and listen thru all of your circumvented devices. They are very aware of what makes you tick. They know your work schedule and use it for work stalking along side of this. I received multiple threatening letters to my work and home addressed to my screen name from this group.
Fyrstikken tells people they are drafted like they did with Facebook at the beginning. He says Facebook was started by forced labor and V2K controlled slaves, just like he creates with his gang for steem and crypto. "Get to work bitch" he tells people once circumvented and intimidated.
Human trafficking is worse than drugs. Steemit censors important content that will expose them. Look at steemit.com/@gangstalking
