Sebelumnya perkenalkan nama saya Teuku Harist Muzani, biasa dipanggil haris saja. Lahir di Banda Aceh lebih kurang 31 tahun yang lalu. Bagi saya menulis bukanlah sesuatu yang baru. Namun yang jelas Platform baru bernama Stemmit ini adalah sesuatu yang baru bagi saya.

Saya terhitung telat bergabung dengan Steemit. Para pendahulu, master maupun senior saya di dunia tulis menulis sudah lebih dulu bergabung di platform ini, seperti @muhajirjuli , @rismanrachman, @bulmansatar @ampuhdevayan, @bungalkaf @mariska.lubis dan tentunya abangda @teukukemalfasya

Khusus @muhajirjuli , yang bersangkutan adalah orang yang kiranya bertanggung jawab sehingga saya terdampar di dunia stemit. Yang bersangkutan kerap memprovokasi agar sesegera mungkin dan dalam tempo sesingkat singkatnya agar secepatnya menulis di platform ini. Tentunya sembari memperlihatkan pundi pundi wallet yang semakin menumpuk. ^_^ ‘

Jujur, awalnya saya tertarik dengan gagasan platform baru ini, dimana karya tulisan kita akan dihargai dengan sejumlah rewards. Istilahnya Steem Dollar. Steem Dollar ini nantinya dapat ditukarkan dengan dollar real dengan alur yang menurut saya, cukup berbelit belit dan birokratis. Kabarnya ada cara yang lebih simpel, dengan menukar steam dollar ke investor steam dollar yang kabarnya juga sudah cukup banyak saat ini.

Namun dengan berat hati saya katakan. Kesan pertama saya terhadap steemit cukup sata kata: STEMMIT TERNYATA RUMIT!

Sebentar, jangan marah dulu. Saya cuma mengutarakan apa yang saya rasakan sebagai pemula di dunia perstemitan. Bisa jadi ketika saya menyelami dunia steemit lebih dalam, kesan rumit itu akan hilang. Namun sejauh ini, jujur saya katakan steemit ini masih rumit sebagai sebuah platform baru yang sejatinya menawarkan konsep brilian di era literasi digital ini.

Padahal kunci utama di era digital ini cukup satu kata: KESEDERHANAAN ALIAS SIMPEL

Semakin sederhana dan semakin mudah diakses sebuah platform, maka platform itu akan semakin mudah diterima publik.

Ada beberapa alasan mengapa saya, sejauh ini, masih menilai steemit adalah platform yang cukup rumit bagi pemula. khususnya bagi mereka yang tidak terbiasa dengan bahasa HTML

Pertama, pendaftaran yang ribet .

Untuk mendaftar perlu menempuh serangkaian prosedur birokrasi yang ribet. Berbeda dengan platform lain yang mendaftar cukup sederhana. Bahkan hanya menawarkan keterhubungan dengan platform medsos lain yang populer semacam facebook atau twitter. Orang sudah bisa mendaftar. Disisi lain, steemit menempuh prosedur yang berliku dengan meminta orang menunggu akun tersebut di approve. Dari segi kemudahan pendaftaran, steemit belumlah dapat dikatakan mudah.

Kedua, password unik yang berguna sekaligus menyusahkan.

Di satu sisi, penyematan password unik berguna bagi keselamatan akun. Namun metode generate password ini akan terasa menyusahkan nantinya ketika password anda hilang. tidak ada yang bisa menyelamatkan akun anda ketika password hilang. Benar, steemit sudah memberi peringatan berkali kali agar password anda disimpan di tempat yang aman. Namun hei, tidak ada jaminan password saya yang panjangnya seperti kereta api ini akan aman selamanya. Maka itulah metode penyelamatan password tetap tersedia di platform jejaring sosial di era digital ini. Namun rupanya steemit memilih tidak ada opsi penyelamatan password. Kalau password hilang. wassalam

Ketiga, mengganti cover dan profil picture yang ribet

Karena steemit bukanlah situs seperti media sosial lain yang memiliki server sendiri. Namun stemmit adalah media sosial terdesentralisasi yang dibangun diatas teknologi berbasis block chain. Saya tidak paham istilah IT yang njimet. Namun yang jelas untuk mengganti profil maupun cover tidak semudah media sosial lain yang tinggal unggah ke situs. Melainkan harus disimpan dulu di situs tertentu yang menyediakan hosting gambar. Untuk mereka yang awam teknologi, maka jelas hal ini cukup memusingkan. Kembali stemit belumlah ramah bagi mereka yang gagap teknologi.

Namun, barangkali sejauh ini baru tiga hal diatas yang saya rasakan cukup menganggu sebagai penduduk baru Steemit. Keluhan diatas adalah yang paling umum di utarakan oleh banyak pihak yang sebenarnya sangat tertarik dengan platform baru ini. Berkenalan dengan steemit haruslah mengumpulkan informasi yang cukup. Atau minimal bertanya tanya pada stemian yang sudah malang melintang di dunia stemit. Ini belum lagi berbicara tentang format tulisan yang harus menggunakan pengkodean . Tentunya hal itu akan semakin membuat puyeng kepala ureung tuha yang memang awam di bidang kode HTML.

Saya berharap kerumitan ini hanya karena saya yang belum akrab dengan platform ini. Kemudian berharap agar kedepan tidak lagi menemukan kerumitan dalam hal hal teknis lainnya.

Konsep platform baru ini sesungguhnya cerdas, dan Stemmit sendiri berpotensi menjadi platform baru yang bisa menggeser kepopuleran platform media sosial yang lebih dulu populer, bila kedepan berupaya membenahi birokrasinya.

SIMPLE IS BETTER.

Kesederhanaan adalah kunci. Saya, seperti juga anda, juga tidak menyukai sesuatu yang rumit. Steemit harus berbena kedepannya, agar kesan rumit itu tidak lagi melekat di steemit.

Jadi sudilah kiranya para suhu disini membimbing saya yang masih pemula di dunia demit, eh, stemmit. Terutama mengenai tips dan trik di dunia stemmit.

Harapan saya, dan calon stemian lain tentunya sederhana,
