D-LOG 1: WHO AM I ?
Today marks my 104th day on steem.
While this is not a special round number - it still does represent the time I've been on this plattform and how much has changed. For me, for steem(it) and for the whole crypto-world.
Introducing: D-LOGS
I've been following @exyle for most of these 104 days and while I didn't read/watch all of his vlogs - I am very much impressed of how consistent he is and how much value he produces. (Big Respect!)
And .. he inspired me to do something similar.
Since I don't plan to talk into the camera anytime soon - I thought about doing daily-blogs. But it doesn't sound exciting enough.
So I thought a bit more and came up with: D-LOG.
Wolf's D(ecentralised)-LOG.
Seriously, what would be more suitable for steem than D-LOGS? (hint: nothing)
Will it be daily? Maybe - I'll have to test and see how much value I can create with a daily post.
You might ask yourself now:
'Okay wolf, but what are these D-LOGS about?'
Well, that is a very good question!
It's all about the story, baby
I recently watched an interview with @andrarchy (Community Liason Steemit) by @terrybrooks about 'Steemit Success'.
And what andrarchy said - really resonated with me.
He talked about how important a Story is and how the Story shouldn't start and end with one post but rather should be an underlying topic for a whole series of posts.
This knowledge made me realise that I want to create something similar.
A series of posts that have an underlying topic but are still unique individually.
You may ask yourself now...
What is the underlying Story?
me.
oh yeah. The story is about me, some guy in his mid-twenties and his way to ultimate world domination life and success on steem. (fun included)
I know how cheezy this might sound. I don't plan to be the next mark zuckerberg, elon musk or @ned - but if it happens: I'm down for it..
:P
So. Since we have cleared this up and what a D-LOG is - shall we get started with the main event?
WHO AM I?
You all probably want to know first - who I am and why you should spend your precious time and upvotes on that guy.
Well. Let me give you some facts.
I'm a Developer since 2012. The first project I've created for steem was VotingPowerBar for Mac, after that I created my personal Voting Bot, Wolf's Voting Bot - which pretty much build the base for that came next.
Few days ago I released my new and amazing project with, my better-half, @artbunny, called: smartsteem.
So as you see - I'm kind of active in the steem developer scene.
But besides developing - I'm also an avid cook (saves money and tastes good), graphic designer (look at that thumbnail) and cryptocurrency-enthusiast (investing that saved money).
So chances are high that the D-LOGS will sooner or later go into these directions. However, most importantly, I want to put steem into focus - as I believe that steem has a lot going as cryptocurrency about which many still dream.
Free Transfers. 100k transactions per second. 3 sec blocktime. And most importantly usability and users.
So - are you as hyped as me for the next D-LOGS? I hope so! ;)
this is going to be good I think, I have been following your projects for a while now and we have chatted a bit but its nice to get to know the person behind the project...
looking forward to the d-logs...
thanks @felander. I feel that I often have the best ideas very spontaneous. Let's see how it goes, but as @andrarchy said in his interview: 'Just write about what you're interested in and what you think about when you don't have to think and your brain can relax' (not the exact words)
@therealwolf, you just received an upvote powered by smartsteem. We exclusively support quality posts and authors on steem.
Everyone is invited to be a part of it and to join the smartsteem community: https://steem.ly/smartsteem
Welcome to Steem @smartsteem I have upvoted and sent you a tip

Great going you're the Man!
I am embarrassed to ask but, how do I upload my photo to my smartsteem.com profile? Thanks!
