Introduction, hello!

in #introduceyourself6 years ago

Hello, my name is Tyler Bryan.
I don't like to start my introduction with tragedy, but I believe it is important to know where my passion comes from. When I was 12, my father committed suicide and I found him. Traumatic as it was, I made a vow to myself that I would do anything I could to help those around me to never feel that alone... I too have suffered from depression, but I pulled myself out knowing how selfish it would be to take my own life leaving behind those who loved me. Then in that moment I understood that I had performed emotional alchemy... turning my lead into gold.
So that aside, I like to consider myself a modern wizard. To clear up misconceptions, the word wizard just means "wise man" and another fun fact, abracadabra just means "I do what I say, I say what I do." I seek truth, love, peace, and friendship.
And we have tools here to help achieve these ideals.
I have amassed a deal of knowledge about herbology/apocothary and the using of these supstances as tools to aid in everyday life.
My top four supplements are as follows.
All of which are legal and can be bought at most health food stores.
Lions Mane mushrooms (Aids in neurogenesis and the prevention of neurological disorders such as alzhiemers and dementia) I recommend Paul Stamets brand for anything mushroom related.
Tumeric with black pepper extract. (Anti inflammation, natural pain reducer, and mood improver) I use Gaia brand.
Rhodiola Rosea (also known as golden root, it regulates the adrenal glands and helps with stress response by limiting the production of adrenaline and cortisol so you don't lose your cool over small stuff) also Gaia.
And lastly, I absolutely adore Alpha Brain from Joe Rogan's company Onnit. (Aids in motivation, lucid dreaming, and memory. Also it limited my desire to consume as much caffeine. I wouldn't consider it a stimulant in the same regard as caffeine, no jitters or anything, but it does motivate you to be a better you.
May these words find you well, and always remember, never lose hope.
Also I make art stuff!

Love,
Tyler Stephen Bryan8261_eightbit6.jpg

Hey tilor

Hello tilor64! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!

Welcome to steemit

Hello @tilor64 and welcome to the great world of steemit in here you can pass along your knowledge to the people and help them, and in doing so you can help yourself a little to.

In here as in the fisic world is good to have community, not just one but plenty that you can interact with and make friends.
I want to talk to you about one of those community is called @steemjet our main goal is global Steem adoption, this through getting knowledge about Steen and Cryptos to the brokers and the children.
In steemit we have a lot of contest to do the same goal, give some to the ones who deserve it. You can see the different contests in @dimimp, @steemjet and very soon in @steemjetcontests
We have a lot of them where you can show your talents or find new ones that you never knew.

An advice That i'm gonna give you, do your post from you heart and don't do it for the reward, a good post with a lot of heart in it will attract rewards along the way.
My regards from Venezuela. I'm part of #SpaceForce7 and the #welcome team of @steemjet.

welcome to the community..have a nice day

Hello and welcome to Steemit! :)

Welcome to Steemit tilor64. Let me know if you got any questions about Steem or anything related to it! The official FAQ can be found here and has A LOT of information https://steemit.com/faq.html - Also remember, Steemit is just ONE of the sites built that uses Steem the blockchain. We also have DTube - our very own Youtube, DSound for Soundcloud and Steepshot if you prefer Instagram like experience. I'd also like to mention ChainBB - forums, Busy - Steemit with more modern look basically, DMania for memes and Dlive for streaming just like in Twitch! You can also earn Steem by gaming now! Search for Steemgar if that's more your thing. Welcome to the blockchain! :)

The truth be told, Steem is blockchain based, not Steemit. And all those other platforms mentioned are completely different entities from Steemit. Steemit is Steemit... everything else is built alongside the Steemit platform. Please do not mislead newcomers.

Welcome to Steemit. It's really a good platform for the nurturing authors and for the people who want to share their good work with the world. You'll surely have a nice time here. Lots of good wishes and good luck to you!! :):)
