this was posted by @theshopologist on my post, a serious allegations to @compumatrix.
Has anyone heard of Compumatrix - Henry Banayat - He took 50 of my bitcoins on video on behalf of his financial company compumatrix -stating he would trade them for profit. I have been trying to get them back since September and he continues to say he will send but never does! Stealing 50 bitcoins is not honorable - stealing the profits and lying is not representative of his public statements! The space needs to weed out thieves to protect the community.
I hope these allegations are not going to be connected to steemit platform. Or not using steemit platform to spread its cons.
If these allegations are true...
Otherwise, welcome to the steemit community and the steemit platform. I hope to seeing and reading you blog. Keep on steeming.
That's the bitshares member who messed up her account big time by changing her permissions without reading the rules on how permissions are set. Now that she has no control over her account (which means, can't even transfer or withdraw), she's blaming compumatrix for it.
Thanks @webcoop for pointing this out. She is actually blaming us for her own mistake of messing around her own wallet's Active and Owner permissions. Now she can't authorize any transactions on her account which includes the ability to withdraw using our partner's gateway.
I don't really know what business you do and I don't know how that person managed to give you 50 BTC which is a huge amount of money.
What she done, given you permission to trade for her?
Is your gateway bitshares.openledger.info?
Does she have her master password still or maybe you do if you are trading for her?
Anyway, I'm not a police so I won't go into all that details.
However, your company looks so suspicious if you don't mind me saying. Look at your website. You know what, I used to make blogs regarding the new ponzis or scam that are flooding Philippines and the first thing I look for is their website.
Your website throws a lot of red flags.
your website compumatrix.com is a copy of compumatrix.us.com or compumatirx.biz
your business model I think is copied from compumatrix.us.com
I don't think you are affiliated with them because your website is different.
your links don't work (most important terms and conditions), no contact info, etc. Your retail info goes to bitshares.openledger.info
I am not saying you are a scammer but if you are a professional business owner, at least fix your website or if you are real put terms and conditions and a contact information.
The only people who are scared of putting all that on their business websites are the one who have something to be scared about.
It is not Compumatrix who traded for her since we do not provide trading services. We do teach people how to trade on the DEX by conducting online webinars and tutorials... including how to open a STEEMIT account... that's why @theshopologist is on STEEMIT with an empty profile.
However, she was taught directly by one of our directors and gave him permission to trade for her by providing access through the active permissions. She does have full control of her account. Those active permissions were revoked by her and at the same time she made the wrong permission settings which has now escalated to her not being able to authorize any transactions on her account. These transactions include her ability to request for any cashout or withdrawal request. We have sent the issue to the bitshares development team to see if there is any way to get this sorted out and they responded here: https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-core/issues/447
As for the website, it is, obviously, still in its development phase as you have noticed with all the broken links. All the compumatrix domain assets are being pointed into compumatrix.com once launched. In short, we have not launched yet and Compumatrix is not even aware of her existence and direct relationship with one of our directors until now. We certainly are a legitimate company but the personal activities of anyone on our team should not be construed as a corporate decision.
We do take this matter seriously as this person @theshopologist (Stephanie Graham and cohorts) is certainly defaming our company and throwing out libelous accusations. Based on our research, Ms. Stephanie Graham is busy on several network marketing gigs and MLM programs. Some still active and some have ended up as a ponzi schemes and also getting people into her cashback programs she is promoting and promising them huge returns.
We have no idea as to what your relationship is with @theshopologist as you have taken extra effort of getting her issue out here when she is not even an active STEEMIT member. Not to mention, an account that exists to destroy others through this platform.
you should take this matter seriously whether defaming your company or telling the truth.
Your company have a legal obligations to your customers. Or do you even have legal papers?
You said you teach people how to trade on DEX, do you guys hold a business permit for that or you guys are just doing it on personal level.
I hope these people are not paying you to teach them how to open an account with steemit.
Come on teaching other people how to open an account with steemit is part of your business? How much would it cost me?
I hope you are not forcing these people to put money in steemit and buy steem... (hmmm actually that could benefit me as well, it might increase the value of steem)
People are trying so hard to make steemit platform work for all of us. If your compumatrix business is shady or scam and one of your business model is teaching making account in steemit and trading on steemit as well. This will have a very negative effect on the steemit platform.
They will think steemit is connected to compumatrix.
BTW, it don't matter what my relation with @theshopologist.
By the way, we apologize to Janette @janettetoral for hijacking her introductory message with all these unrelated comments on her thread.
All Compumatrix training programs are free. Our goal is to increase the number of users for STEEMIT who would become proactive and productive individuals on this platform. The same way we promote all other decentralized and blockchain-powered apps, cryptocurrencies, digital assets and tokens around the world through our global community of volunteers.
Best of luck to you.
Thank you @compumatrix for the clarification. I hope you and the said person will be able to resolve your issues soon.
