Peace Steemit... I go by the name Dookiebrownflow (Seriously)

Peace steemians,

My mother calls me Di, The homie's call me Brown and the streets call me Dookiebrownflow or Dookie (It's okay to laugh i'm not that sensitive)

I am an Emcee by nature and a Poet by calling. Since graduating college in 2014 I have been touring domestically and internationally Performing spoken word/ Hip Hop as a independent artist. Which has honestly been the most exhilarating experience of my life, adapting to the road, seeing alternative cultures and custom has expanded my consciousness and I am grateful.

I am also half of the Hip Hop duo Second Womb we hail from southern New Jersey, the womb consits of my self (Dookiebrownflow) and Father Earth. We met in late 2012 at the legendary Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia through my cousin Guordan Banks.

(Guordan's legendary!! I witnessed John Legend come out of the studio and ask him to finish a record for him!! Hes also had a #1 billboard song and has written for multiple mainstream artist. Hes legit R&B check him out) much respect to my guy!

Soon as me and Earth met it was set in stone, he played one instrumental and i wrote "Who we be" on the spot. The next 6 months were a blur we recorded close to 100 songs out the gate before releasing any work. 2015 marked the start of our "Live From The Cave" series in which we were to release an Ep every single month for a year straight. A total of 12 Eps equaling 40 songs in over 4 hours worth of music enabled us to actively feed our fan base on a monthly basis as well as tour with a solid product.

We have never tied ourselves down by fitting a mold or by confining our sound to current trends or any sort of genre-specific rules or expectations. Our music conveys an overall message of self-enlightenment, well-being and Oneness, sometimes conveyed through satirist views of the idiosyncrasies of modern culture and other times through pure, passionate expressions of our observations of this reality. Our music is in every way unique to our personality and faith in the power of the universal collective consciousness.

January 1st 2017 we resumed our "Live from The Cave" series and released another 12 Eps along side of performing year round at music festivals, open mics, Schools and community centers, street corners, clubs, peoples homes, churches, weddings and funerals...to name a few places. I am well seasoned in my skill and take pride in my abilities, our hard work and persistence allows us to spread a healing message and Spread the Dookie at the same time!!

I'm excited to be joining the steemit community as I know this will revolutionize how the content creators control social media as a whole. THE POWER BELONGS TO US!!
