Fellow Steemians,

My brilliant husband (crypto fanatic on the side) told me I would love Steemit. And to be honest, after I worked out (over 2 days) how to upload a profile pic I quite enjoy it!! I fell in love with Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat....but to tell you the truth, it all just got to be too hard, and it felt a bit like 'keeping up with the Joneses'. I love the ethos and community of Steemit.

I'm pretty passionate about food, food, and more food. I once had a psychic in a cafe in Ubud tell me, 'you are all about food, go into the kitchen now!'. I love to travel and worked 10 years in the travel industry, so it made sense to combine these 2 passions. I wish I could travel more than I do right now, but with 4 children and a husband, it's harder to just 'pick up and go'. We've been living in Bali, Ubud for the last 6 months where I have been working at the Ritz Carlton as a pastry chef (self-taught). It's been an amazing journey and it's where my husband and I created the Eatworthy Ubud App, us delving into the Digital Nomad world! Our App has all the best-hidden gems to eat in Ubud. He's done all the photography and video, and I've researched and written the content.

But really, I'm hoping to use Steemit to meet like-minded people and connect authentically. I've realized food is my escapism to places abroad.
