Poverty I faced while growing

My name is emmanuel am an african,born into the family of 23..we were born into poverty,In dirty enviroments where people do not deserve to live...we live,cook and play in dirty slums..we sleep in an uncompleted buildings,made off red clay,with bad roofs.whenever its raining, we still get wet by rain even when we are inside the hut..23 of us live in that hut.

We never for once are good meals,there were less food for plenty mouth to feed,so most time,what we get to eat is little..we always fight for food
Sometimes the food is not even nutrious, not balance diet.we watch most of our neighbours children die because of malnutrition and lack of vital vitamins the body needs

We lacked water,there is just one bore hole in our community,which is usually not working..so whenever its not working,we are left with no choice than to fetch a dirty water from a dirty river..we drink and bath with that water..we wash and cook with it also..these lead to massive death in our community

Due to the high level of poverty, we had no cloths to wear,most of us,usually go out naked for days and months..we sleep naked even in cold,our body is dirty and rough..with big red wound allover our head.still nobody to care for us..thosse of us that has cloths,their cloths are torn.but even with all these vices,we were still happy,we laughed,played and enjoyed even In our worst situation. .

We didn't attend the best of schools,even among poverty, there are the few better once that could afford to go to school..I was opturned to..our schools were dirty,it wasn't condusive for learning.the building was all broken..yet I still managed to attend because of the strive for success

We had to pick dustins to help ourself get little money to take care of ourselfs.we do all sort of work.some of us went to farms,some of us become house helps.some of us were even sold.

Although we spent most of our young age In poverty and in tears.with no help from anywhere..living us to ourself to suffer.we are still striving to make it...I am the first graduate my community has produced..so a lot Is expected of me

Since I have graduated,a friend introduced me to steemit.he said the steemit community is madeup of nice people who helps people with vision.I have decieded to go back to my community to make things right.I will set up an N.g.O.that will help us alittle..you can also donate to assist..upvote and donate....
