Hi Steemians, Even if you are here for long and did not do your introduction post. i think its time. you do it. i am going to write how important the introduction post can be.

Personal connect:

As much as you are famous or unknown, introducing yourself will give a personal connect to people, where people could see who you are, is there anything in common with you or no. do you know? Hollywood celebrities saw a huge difference before and after they started connecting to their fans via social media and sharing some of their personal life moments with them. As a reader, sometimes I would just read someone because I think I could relate to that person in something.

It builds community:

When you are on a mission, let’s see remove poverty or breast cancer or any other thing, you want to have a community who supports you, there is one way that you start a campaign and hope people will join in or start sharing your story, why did you start this, like I will give an example. A very famous personality from Pakistan “Imran Khan” now politician, (he was a cricket legend back then) started a cancer cure hospital, Shoukat khanam hospital. Why? Because his own mother died of cancer and at that time there was no hospital specifically treating cancer in Pakistan. He told his personal story and people were touched, and the whole nation supported him achieving his goal.

It gives you a boost:

There are many, (literally many) big fish here, who when see your introduction will either support you by upvoting or even resteeming if they think it’s a good write, it will give you encouragement and hope that yes people do read things here, also some people generously upvote the new comer so you get a good start because of writing the introduction post.

This is the chance to shine:

This is connected to the previous point, if you are a good writer, invest good amount of time in your introduction post, as that might be the first post people would see, and if it gets resteemed or gets into “hot” or “trending” people will read it, but if you do not write well, then they might not come back to your blog again.

Chance to make new friends:

New comers are normally reading introduction posts of others, why? Because if you are writing an introduction post, chances are you are new, may be not all but most of you, so new comers can make new friends, follow each other and even find a life partner “who knows”.

Get attention of auto bots:

There are some auto bots who are looking for introduction posts and they comment or sometimes gift you SBD automatically so why not to have this little favor as well.
