Good Morning Steemit; I would like to introduce myself to this wonderful site

Hi my name is Ron Martin. I have been married for 43 years and we have two sons. One is our son in his 40's now and the other is our Godson. He calls me Dad. He doesn't really know his real dad. I've been there for him since he was in diapers....:)

It's been my life's mission to help people when ever I could. I was in construction for over 30 years. I built small projects and large projects....most of the time it was 60 and 80 house at one time.....Last big housing project in the 80's, was in San Diego, CA it was a 62 unit housing project. Where my crew (which was 125 men and 2 women) and I finished the project in 12 weeks....

In the later years (90's to 2008) I was on the commercial side of building. Where I over saw the building projects of restaurants, 2 to 4 story hotels, Banks, Mini Malls, and Stores like Les Schwab tire store.....etc

I'm 60 years old. I got hurt when I was 19 years old and I have had 5 back surgeries to date. I stayed in construction because that's where the money was. In 2008 I got laid of due to the bottom dropping out of everything....However, I did walk away with my 2 weeks check and a bonus check of $6,500.00. That made me feel good. Even though they was letting me go they still let me know that I did a great job for them.....Great Feeling!

I'm glad I found Steemit . I have always been a teacher of sorts.....I was a boss for around 25 years of the 30 years I was in the field. I have always enjoyed people and love to teach them and see them succeed in life.

My hopes is that I can do that here. Back in 2005 to 2010, I tried to create a business online and still worked the long hours of a boss....I must have spent $15,000 to $20,000 having course created for me to sell on line....In 2010 I went broke and had to stop the online business, as I couldn't get traffic. However, I still have most of them. Some of the content is relevant and some isn't....I would like to take what is relevant and post them here for people to learn.
